Look, Id love to see it...but really has Nelson done enough to deserve atitle shot..he hasnt beaten a top 5 guy..hell - has he even beaten a top 10 guy??

hes still a champion in my book. no heavyweight on the planet will ever knock him out. except arlovski.....who paid him to take a dive...and roy felt sorry for arlovski so he happilly obliged in order to stop him from scrubbing grease traps at the big country buffet

and besides, who says u need to earn a title shot? just ask brock lesnar.....or more relevant today frankie edgar and chael sonnen. what have they done to earn a title shot in a division theyve never even fought in before, other than lose their last couple fights?

I actually give roy a better shot than most people. He can take any fists that cain throws at him, and it'll be hell trying to take Roy down. I really really want to see this fight.

Roy lands one shot, Cain is knocked out, Cain's chin is extremely vulnerable, in which out of the 5 solid shots in his career i've seen him take, 1 the from Kongo almost knocked him out, and the 1 from JDS did knock him out, that means land a shot you got 20% chance of knocking cain out. Just dont let him hump your leg and do nothing and tire you out and you win that fight easy. But yea Roy needs to lose weight and maybe drop to 205.

You think Cain is guilty of lay and pray? If there's such a thing as somebody working active ground and pound, it's him.

His GNP is pretty good, however as we just saw his cardio is extremely questionable gassing as bad as JDS who was punch drunk by round 3, so in that sense I more meant that he won't finish Roy, few can, and so by wrestling him it will make a boring slug fight, we just saw 2 rounds of garbage in the last heavyweight championship fight, questionable even 3

Roy will attempt his hail mary overhand rights and pray one of them lands on Cain. If Roy can eat all those JDS punches and still walk like a zombie towards him, Cain has no choice but to TRY and take this to the ground.

It would not be the one sided beat down that everyone seems to think, Roy has decent stand up he has a rock hard chin and iron will, he has the heart to keep moving forward regardless of the battering he is taking and he has good wrestling and great jits

Do i think that cain is a better fighter than roy? yes. Do i think roy is a bad match up for cain? yes. The reason why is cain puts so much pressure on fighters they start to gas out and pull back. Roy on the other hand would just keep coming forward and has big ko power, plus he has great bjj if cain can take him down. He could have the perfect style to pose cain some big problems.
