I still like Gina better then Ronda, and believe she would have done better in PPV sales

Ronda is great dont get me wrong for WMMA but if only Gina Carano was still in the game I think she would have done much better in the ppv sales, because Gina actually stood and displayed a beutiful muay thai game along with her ground skills. The only person she lost to was Cris Cyborg who was probably on roids then too. I see Cyborg beating Ronda anyways so Gina vs Ronda would be my dream WMMA matchup.

I don't think she would do better in PPV sales, Ronda is more of a trash talker, he likes to start fires and has been incredibly dominant so far so... however Gina is hotter.

Prove me wrong come UFC 157, but i dont believe women's mma will prove successful besides the championship fights. Dont get me wrong, Rousey, Tate and Cyborg are great fighters, but what happens when they're done fighting eachother? I just have a hard time believing its the right time for a permanent Womens division

She wasn't that big at the time though. I think Tate at the time Rousey fought her was a bigger draw than Cyborg was at the time Carano fought her.

i will watch because i find it interesting that the growth or fall of womens mma in the UFC in based solely on the results. The UFC could survive now if one of it's meal tickets (GSP, Silva, Jones) lost now but in 2005 when it was just gaining popularity, the future of the sport was dependent on it's big draws winning. It's kind of fun seeing it unfold again.

They just need to get the top talented exciting fighters and be smart about matchmaking. People flip out when the men have a grappling match so I can only imagine the rage if the women put on a bit of a boring fight.

I suppose but I mean more of in a stalling kind of way. Haha guess I didnt think about it like that. Dont know if you know feliz herig (sp) the little bulldog but in her last fight she wore something resembling a school girl outfit and it had split parts so you could see her bikini bottom under it. It was awesome and she won me some dough.
