word on the street is that Daniel Cormier will begin training with Steven Seagal......Will this help him like it's helped Silva and Machida as he tries to take the title from Joney Bones Jones......Discuss thanx......
Sigbet record: 17 - 4
I am an idiot for thinking GSP would finish the P4P goat Nick Diaz within 5 rounds.

I think Seagal does it to take revange on Bones for not letting him train him.

If I had to choose anybody today [as a "Fighter of the Year"] I'd pick Daniel Cormier because I think he is the best out of that lot. He's the guy and maybe going to be working with him a little bit. We'll see. I think he's kind of the person not everyone knows about, but he's a "sleeper," you know? And that's going to be interesting. I'm not going to say anything more than that. I'll just say he's a friend of mine ... that's all."
Please bow for Master Seagal while watching this video.

If they went on vacation to indonesia and met some some guy who did pentjak silat at some point and he knew them and wanted to show them a few things he'd learned they would listen and try to figure out how to take the essense of what he had to teach and implement it into thier game some how. They have a very Bruce Lee like philosophy in that anything they hear or learn from others they eat the meat of it and spit out the bone and are open to experiment and devise ways to modify and refine it.
It's not that Aikido is great ( it isn't ) or Seagal is some great martial artist ( he isn't ) it's that Andy and Machida are the types they can learn something from anyone even non-martial artist because they are open to improve any way they can. It's almost like an exercise in auto suggestion not to mention they are so talented If Seagal shows them turds they will polish it till it's a diamond.
