After Hunt one punches Struve, he'll probably get a contender fight, or at least a top 10 opponent. Maybe against the winner of Nog and Werdum? Big Country, Mir, or even JDS. He's got legit chances against anyone who's not going to relentlessly pursue takedowns.

Bad matchups for him are Cain, Barnett, Cormier etc...

Funny that the HW division had evolved into massive wrestlers, and now they are fading out since Brock and Carwin are both gone. JDS and Overeem showed that powerful and agile tdd and striking can beat wrestling and strength. Cain has shown being a quick wrestler is > all.

Daniel Cormier - I think Velasquez will lose his title to Overeem and then Cormier will win it from Overeem and those will probably be the only HW title fights of 2013, I don't think Jones vs. Cormier will happen.

That's a possible senario but for the last two fights he's been averaging a drop of 8 pounds per fight. He's moving down not up. He needs to stop losing weight right now if he's staying at HW.

Unless BigslowFoot beats Overeem, I don't see how JDS gets a titleshot this year. I also think Cain will only fight once this year.
JDS will probably have to win 2 more fights to get the titleshot, at least that's what he should do after losing like that.

I think you're looking at it wrong. Cain got KO'd in the first round, in 64 seconds. All he had to do was face a HW making his debut and he got the title shot. I say give Junior a top opponent and if he mauls him then he deserves a title shot as well. Cain didn't even defend his belt. JDS did.

Yeah but I still think that Cain will only fight once this year and that will be against Overeem in July or something. After that he'll delay as much as he can to avoid fighting JDS any time soon and the UFC will be on board with that.
