UFC 159 One Fight Announced? Presale on Monday 1/21

This might be a first in the US - there is only one fight announced for this card and the presale starts in 48 hours - not sure how seats will be sold with this amount of uncertainty and the current pricing structure. Has anyone heard of other fights being booked for this event? I know Eddie Alvarez's name is being tossed around; not sure if that is co-main event quality just yet.

i expect to see jim miller costa luis green hair dude guaidnot and gian villante all from my state of new york except jim miller and maybe weidman if hes healthy

they will most likely throw some old TUF fighters on there. Wonder if they could get Roy to fight on it

Most of the time the "announced" fights are in no way confirmed by the time the pre sale starts although it's generally what the ufc intends the card to be.

The UFC feels Jones can sell a card by himself. They do this every time with him.
