I think he really underestimated Varner. He was way too relaxed when Varner was going full force at him. I think Barbosa needed that loss against Varner as a wake up call.

Masvidal used to beat down Heavyweights in backyards with Kimbo, he'd wrecked Barboza and his " too technical" of skills.

I think that's why Barboza is limited as a striker and will get knocked out by guys like Varner, Masvidal and many others because he is TOO TECHNICAL. Funny, most people can't grasp that.

I feel that Barboza definately got the win over Njokuani, but lost to Pearson. Also some people are underestimating Masvidal, that dude is a solid counter striker and could out strike Barboza IMO. It's all just a matter of how he approaches the fight with his training camp.
