1. Weidman hasn't made a name for himself yet, this fight would surely do that.

2. Rashad needs a legitimate win at 185lbs before he deserves a shot at Anderson.

But i heard Silva wants to fight in spring.
Maybe these two fight in spring as well. Winner gets a shot.

Give Weidman his title shot in May or June.

Then the winner of Vitor/Costa and Lombard/Okami fight for the next #1 contender in August. After that the winner of Weidman/Anderson vs the #1 contender on a December card.

That way Anderson would have plenty of time between fights if he beats Weidman which he seems to like and we will keep the division moving.
