Jon Jones won a fan.

I was carried by all the hate around him and let it grow hate inside me.

I've rewatched all of his fights last two weeks, and it obviously amazed me. I don't need to say anything about that, you know he's awesome inside the octagon.

About his dirty techniques: i think he plays by the rules - the one time he didn't, he lost the fight by DQ and did not complain about it.

151 is obviouslly Hendo's fault. He could fight Sonnen on 8 days notice, but hey, it's the UFC belt on the line, i wouldn't risk losing it to save my boss' ****.

I don't care about his personal issues.

And this is how i turned into a fan:

    i don't mind him as a fighter at all. I agree about 151 being more Hendos fault since he lied so long about being hurt.

    Now as a person i dilike Jones

    Is he a great fighter? yes anyone who beats the people he has has to be acknowledged for his skills but it doesn't change my opinion of him he's too fake and arrogant.

    I doubt I will ever be a fan of phony bones Jones.

    151 was not Hendo's fault. It was all Jones. If he truly is the best the division has, it shouldn't matter if you have eight days notice or three months. Your skills, as they are, should be sufficient to defend your title. By not taking the fight, Jones shows he didn't have confidence in his abilities to defend his title. Meaning he probably shouldn't be the champion.

    The champion should be ready to fight anyone at anytime. He should be continuously perfecting his skills and ensuring that they are always a level above his opponent's so that he may successfully defend what is his. If he is unable to, then he clearly isn't the best in the division and should have no claim to the title of Champion.

    thank god you don't rule the UFC, no champion would be able to defend his title more than a couple times lol

    Respect. Jones is a great fighter and a great guy. That Q n A was entertaining

    I never understood the hate for him. I think a lot of people were hating on him just to hate and because a lot of people were doing it. People are now seeing past that and realizing that Jon is a cool dude. I have been following him since the Bonnar fight and to me he has always been humble and cool. Sure he has made his share of mistakes but no one is perfect.

    Glad to see people are looking past the blind hate for him. I feel Jones is a classy, humble, extremely skilled, and entertaining fighter. He may have become a lot more confident but that is definitely needed when you are the UFC's youngest champ.

    It definitely doesn't suck being a Jones fan either. People can keep hating if they want, he will keep smashin guys :D
