First UFC

I Just bought my ticket for UFC 159. This will be my first UFC and I would like to make the most of the experience. I was wondering if any of the frequent UFC goers might be able to give me an idea of what to expect in terms of UFC related events during fight week. Thanks.

true, but generally the city hosting the event is very upbeat that weekend... the q&a is always cool and the weigh ins get you pumped for the fight... The atmosphere in the arena during the event is UNREAL... so much fun... You'll have a blast

Lol you always expect the drunk tough guys. I don't drink or go to bars often sorry hopefully I can avoid most of that. I was thinking more along the lines of fight week, open workouts etc. Thanks for the warning tho.

Open workouts, Q&A, all that stuff will be announced closer to the date.

We went to the event in Calgary and had a great time. Watch for the Octagon Nation truck. And be on twitter! Dana gives away a ton of stuff during fight week... always on twitter "be at this place and say this" type of stuff.

Guaranteed to have a good time.

I know people who only go on the day of the fights. Those people are idiots. Make the most of weigh-in day! Q&A n FC party are always the highlight of the weekend. You'll have a great time. My first was UFC 89 in Birmingham, and that was a **** card. One of the best weekends of my life! :-)

Yep I swear we probably spent well over $200 in beer yesterday between 6 people.....and we were taking it easy.....

Even though it's a huge event, it's not in Vegas so I doubt there'll be a Fan Expo but Obviouisly the day before has events like Autograph signings, Q&A (with Fight Club Members) and the Weigh ins

Make the most of it is all I'll say, and not sure what the people will be like, a lot of Americans are obnoxious at UFC events, the couple of Australian events I've gone to everyone has been chilled, polite and respectful
