The difference between Frankie Edgar and Clay Guida

Guida didn't lose his last 3 fights.

i don't know how guida has so many haters and edgar doesn't, he does the same dancing-around **** trying to score points my pillow-fists

    Guida was gifted the decision against Hioki and Frankie was robbed against Benson. Guida should be cut.

    Another difference is that Frankie is an elite level fighter who only loses to the top guys, while Clay has 13 losses. 5 of them losses are to guys without wiki pages.

    Edgar doesn't have the power to finish fights all the time, lets remember aswel he has fought Aldo, Henderson, Penn and Maynard (who he did knock out) how many of these guys have ever been stopped?

    I would think if he stays at this weight class he will finish more fights as he will carry more power.

    Well i don't HATE Edgar,i just don't like his style the same way i don't like Guida's style.One thing Guida does is he DOES engage a lot more than Frankie,Edgar pretty much 99% of the time dances around with little intention to engage.
    I hate GSP because....insert jealous excuse here >" ".

    Maybe I was watching a different fight but it looked to me like Frankie engaged Aldo many many times last night. Guida would have been finished in the 1st or 2nd by Aldo.

    The reason he doesnt load up on his punches is to keep his cardio level as high as possible. He almost beat the best FW in history last night with this strategy and the 3rd round was very close.

    Give the guy a break, not everyone has incredible KO power, so they have to rely on other aspects of their game like out boxing their opponent.

    For a guys first contest at FW he sure put up a hell of a fight against the best the division has ever seen.

    Guida is tonnes more wild and less accurate.
    Only similarity is that stupid stance hop they do non-stop.

    They should study MM & learn how to do it properly to setup angles for punches.

    Guida hasn't always fought like he has done in his last few fights. He's been in some wars. Dazed on the fence and throwing bombs with both hands.

    Edgar has never had an exciting fight.

    They both fought, beat, and stopped bigger guys. Edgar beating the once former p4p LW two times in a row and finished his only loss after there draw and being clipped early in there last two face off's. Frankie is a legitimately hall of famer.
