Magalhaes has been spending 2 much time around Sonnen, he is in for a rude awakening. This fight will look similar to the Prado fight.

If Phil is wise enough to be scared of Vinny's ground game he will try to sprawl and brawl in this fight, and when he does Vinny will knock him out.

uh, he's right.....compared to himself Davis doesn't come close to being a good grappler. People don't realize VInny's THAT good. I expect him to pull guard, the question is will he effectively do so.

To be honest, I have only seen one of his fights, and his BJJ looked really good, but Davis wrestling is elite, and usually BJJ guys do bad against elite wrestlers

Yea, but those BJJ guys are usually just "good" at BJJ. Maia doesn't do bad against elite wrestlers (Chael, Fitch), nor does Jacare (Lindland, Brunson). Davis would be stupid to go to the ground with him, and personally I think Vinny beats him standing.

Because he was still green, he'd only had 2 wins in mma and was thrown in with top lhw fighters. Now he's getting all kinds of t/ko's and subs.

Yeah Maia has been beast since he decided that he will no longer be K-1 Maia. I never though i would see someone fitch Fitch.

This. His stand-up has come a long way and his ground is scary, I mean scary. You really have to have a few screws missing to try to go to the ground with this guy. He freaking defeated Werdum for the gold at ADCC in 2011. That being said, I still can't stand him, since TUF with his stupid antics, peeing on Efrain's pillow who was a LW, and his general demeanor I think is crap. I hope Davis beats him, he is a really down to earth, funny dude. Will that happen.... probably not....

It most certainly will not look like the Prado fight Vinny is a very serious BJJ black belt where as Pado is not, Davis will be in fear of Vinny on the ground and try to keep it up, I hate Vinny and i am aware of this you fool

He had to realize that MMA BJJ is different than traditional BJJ. It's not unheard of for fighters to grow and develope in to better fighters.

If Davis initiates the takedown like Pokrajac did he deserves to lose. I think this will be a stand up fight not sure who wins think Davis might outstrike him but if he gets caught and it goes to ground unless Vinny is seriously gassed Davis will get subbed.
