How Does one even make a living with that kind of money the man has a family too. Meanwhile boring fighters like Rashad made 300,000 And steroid abusing trash talking Cheaters made 275,000.

Say mcall fights 3 times a year that's 27000 minus taxes is like 18000 may as well work at McDonald's.

1. That's the show money, if he wins he earns double. So lets say he's actually good, he gets 3 wins that's $54k
2. He also gets sponsor money which in the ufc is often even more then their salary
3. He has the opportunity to win other bonuses such as FOTN, KOTN or SOTN
4. Fighters often reference undisclosed bonuses that ufc pays their fighters to reward performance.

Go find that at McDonalds

That still is pathetic. A top contender should never get pissed on like that. That's why boxing has far more respect then MMA will ever have for treating their fighters well, paying them well, and treating them like kings, not dogs like the UFC.
Look at Dana be two faced towards Couture and Rampage. Goes to show their character.

Boxing screws fighters all the time. What bothers me is that the UFC lovers won't acknowledge that Zuffa can be just as bad, and sometimes worse, when it comes to money.

He should go to one of the other mma organisations where they pay more.

Remember when Dana was insulting and bombasting Jones?He was saying Jones doesn't care about the other fighters and their families..All this while Dana trips around in private jets.

McCall was also a recent title contender,that is all the more proof he is well underpaid.
The sport cannot grow like this,it is why we still have too many weight lifting junkies ,instead of well rounded fighters.The real athletes will LOL at the kind of money the UFC throws at newcomers.ROOKIES in all the other major sports make as much as the top dogs in this sport .
IMO even 25k base s far too low and sadly that is what they pay more than 50% of the fighters.
