Frankie Edgar? I believe I have seen on 2 different sites espn & sherdog have this can who has lost 3 fights in a row on there top 10 list. Are u **** kidding me discuss .......

I don't see how a person that's on a 3 fight losing streak can be on any p4p list or top 10 list

Especially a list for 145 because he only had one fight in that weight class and he got his *** beat, I honestly don't get it LoL

He beat Hendo is last fight...he's clearly the #2 LW in the world....

While the #2 FW in the world is arguable he still gave Aldo his toughest fight to date since Aldo joined the WEC.

P4P to me is nothing but a consensus mostly based on who has the best record based who they have faced and how they beat them. Its not about them facing each other and it shouldn't be.

Edgar beat Penn when he was LW king, Maynard and a bunch of other LW's while truly being a 145er. Also one at most 2 rounds against Aldo. P4P

Edgar is still top 10 p4p no doubt about it, he lost a shocking decision to bendo and came the closets to beating Aldo in the ufc to date. He could move up now and beat most of the guys at 155 which really is two weight classes above the one he should be fighting at.

Word on the street is that Frankie is cutting down to 135 lbs so he can fight the winner of Rousey/Carmouche for the womens bantamweight title. rumor has it that if frankie loses the first fight, this will be a best of 3 series.

Honestly Cruz and Johnson don't either.
How can any of them hold a spot when, between the three of them, they have one dominant victory in the last two years? If you can't convincingly beat the guys in your division, how can you possibly be on a current P4P list?

Barao, Hendricks, Rory, Gustaffson....

Tough to make the arguement for some of them, but they are all on win streaks against guys near the top of their divisions.

I could walk into the octagon right now and post the same record as Frankie in his last three.

one major thing they have in common....they have NEVER fought for a REAL UFC title let alone win and defend one.

There's only 2 ways i see bumping Edgar from top 10 p4p atm....Either one of those new contenders like the one's you mentioned wins a title OR Edgar starts losing to non Champs and non P4Pers

thats true, thats not saying they don't have the potential to get the title...but until you actually do it thats all you are...potential.

As far as Edgar's recent losses goes....We all know he won that 2nd fight with Bendo. Not only that (and i know i sound like a broken record) but he gave Aldo his closest fight of his WEC/UFC career.
