I'm coming around on Chael

So, I always liked his trashtalking, but for som reason or another, I'va always concidered him a bit of a ****. I've gotta say that TUF 17 is making me come sound on that. He seems like a legitimatly good dude. Although I still think he will get smashed by Jones and I still don't think he has deserved his shot, I'm probably gonna root for him come fightday...

He is a master of getting himself the chance to fight titlebouts, that is a talent in and of itself. Deserved or not, he is still the guy going up for the title, so... Not gonna say war Sonnen yet, but I'm slowly getting there.

    I've always liked Chael, he really is a great human being and a fantastic fighter. If he had better sub defense he'd have one of the best records in MMA. Unfortunately I don't think he's going to beat Jones but I'll be cheering for him :)

    TUF has actually made me dislike both guys a little less. Would like to see Chael win a belt hearing about how bad he wants. Will be rooting for him.

    Yup it has been a tito effect so far. I did not like tito until TUF 3 where he showed how much he cared for the fighters he trained.

    I do not dislike chael. More is his fans that believe his trash talking is actually real. When he is just trolling using pre-written material. Without that he is just a nice guy imo who happens to have come really close to achieving his goals. I will be rooting for sonnen whem he faces jones. It is also not his fault that dana has given him the shot. Although it is really not deserved. At all.

    That's what a lot of people don't realize about him.....He's prob one of the most respectable and upstanding guys in the business....His moniker is very different from who he truly is.

    Chael seems like a cool dude and I think anyone would benefit from having his as a coach. He has grown on me as well.
