Just wondered if any fighters/former fighters post on here.
I remember a few years ago Pal Buentello used to be on here but I haven't noticed him post anything recently.

Vinny Magalhaes posted for awhile I think (unless it was someone Trolling) he even called out a poster for talking **** on him if I remember lol. You usually can tell when a fighter posts on here coz all of a sudden there massively popular and sometimes get a bit too over-rated.

He was one of them that got over-rated tbh^ there was a thread about who would win Baroni or Hardy and Phil had way to many votes lol Hardy would kill him but he had votes coz he was posting in the thread at the time.

Y-H agreed he said I ducked a sig bet with him when he never even sent me a sig in the first place strange guy.

This is something I have been told they are going to try and push. Not sure how it will take off, and I think they will be encouraged to post in the paid side to promote people joining the paid forums. Like I said I know this is in the works, and Is available to every fighter, they need to contact sparkart and verify who they are and they will be given a paid membership...if it happens who knows....but I do know it has been talked about.

I think it is healthy that they come here to read what people suggest or say. I think most of the more intelligent disciplined fighters should come in and join but we don't need posturing or bull headed ego so some of the more primitive out there can certainly stay away yes. Its mostly the more 'mental' fighters that are the best anyways. Silva, GSP, Lee for example. These are masters really compared to the Sanchez, Rampage ilk in my opinion. That is why they are champions, aslso my opinion although Lee may not have achieved that he is still as masterful as anyone in the art. In life a master knows that the mind is the most powerful tool. Look at the Lee/Franklin fight and you will see that it is just as I say and that is not the only fight I can cite. There are many more I could cite. It is the mental game that is the difference in most fights between winner and loser. Experts such as a Dr. Lecron that was a sleep researcher and hypnosis expert to some degree concluded the following. "What happens regularly and frequently often remains unobserved or unrecognized by the conscious mind, so that light trance states in daily life occur, pass unnoticed, and remain unrecorded" It is these brief 'unconscious moments' when a fighter is not really in the fight any longer but somewhere else out there in their own mind that the master takes advantage. Drift off due to the routine of the frequency and regularity of what you do, even if its a fight that means a lot and you go down just like Rich Franklin did in that fight when he nonchalantly in a routine way throws another kick at the master, who picked up earlier in the fight that this was taking place, fully awake to the goings on and fully present in the moment strikes once the weakness is found and the fight is over. This is not always the case of course as many get slammed even fully awake but those that win the most have fewer unconscious moments by seeing the fight and all that goes on as new all over again, never allowing themselves to fall prey to that danger of routine.
