Ortiz tells the UFC and Zuffa to “cough it up”

MMA legend and manager Tito Ortiz thinks the UFC could be doing more to look after its athletes financially. The former UFC light heavyweight champion told MMA Fighting Zuffa should increase fighter pay and set up a ‘hall of fame retirement fund.’ He also revealed the UFC offered his client, Cristiane “Cyborg” Santos (10-1), an eight-fight contract before she signed with Invicta Fighting Championships, but the offer was too low.
