Will Carlos Condit run away from Hendricks?

Serious question. If he ran from Diaz, you'd think he'd run from a guy with KO power like Johny.

    Seeing how scared he was of Diaz makes me think he will be scared of a person with 1 punch KO power too

    If he doesn't run then he obviously thinks Diaz is the more dangerous fighter. He didn't run in the GSP fight because he knew he had nothing to be scared of from Georges' stand up

    I hated Condit's performance in the Diaz fight, but I think he will finish Hendricks.

    i imagine he will be expecting an initial blitz from hendricks at the bell and will start running straight off, probably start putting it to him in the 2nd and 3rd he is going to run, but pick his shots with abit more confidence.

    Maybe. Hendricks is dangerous and he might have to fight safe if he wants to win. Condit tried that gameplanning fighting against GSP but went back to instincts after eating multiple jabs and getting cut open with GSP's GnP. That is when Condit is at his best. When he naturally reacts to everything is when he's the most dangerous. If Condit tries that gameplanning fight against Hendricks, and survives getting tagged by Big Rigg, I see Condit pouring it on and winning. It all depends on how Condit comes into this fight. Really dangerous fight for NBK. And lulz at all the butthurt Diaz fans in this thread.

    If I remember right, both Fitch and Kampmann got KTFO'd when they were backing away from Hendricks. I really don't think running would be the safest gameplan for Carlos.

    I really like both guys and know this fight could go either way. IMO the best way for Condit to win is to press forward and work from the clinch. It sounds crazy, but if Condit allows Johnny to get comfortable and strike from range, he'll probably get KO'd.

    Condit is a far better striker than Hendricks. U folks gotta remember than both 1 sec KO scored by Hendricks were AGAISNT GLAPPLERS !! Guys who dont got the natural skill of stand up fights.

    Of course he will,but we have yet to see Hendrick's be tested in a real fight.Last real effort i saw Story man handle him.
    We have to see if Condit can force Hendrick's out of his lucky punch realm.

    When i look at this fight ,i sort of see Shield's -Henderson.The one tricky pony gets taken down,out of his realm and is owned.The problem here is Hendrick's is very heavy,imo the heaviest guy at 170 and is a wrestler,he won't be going down very easily.It will be up to Condit to try and force Hendrick's into a game of BJJ and that doesn't happen too often in MMA.

    Hendricks sure wins a lot of fights for a guy dependent on luck. You don't see GSP going out of his way to fight him. He would rather challenge the number three contender, so that he doesn't face the wrath of Hendricks.
