I just read this on mmajunkie.com so this is only the beginning. Looks like they are making room for the woman and strikeforce fighters..... So list the fighters who you think will be released in very near future......

Nahh .. The will be releasing nobodies really. They know who they CANT release regardless on performances ;)

Lets say, a guy like Edgard .. maybe will be put on a "vacation" type of thing .. but not be cut. Same applies to Shogun ..

With the amount of events increasing the cards are already getting watered-down as it is. With approximately 380 fighters, including the Strike force guys that have already signed, releasing over a quarter of the roster is **** stupid.

If there was ever a time for a fighters union, it's now.

Now more then ever a fighter really has to look at were they wanna fight. If a guy like Fitch can be released then baring the really big names no one there is safe.

There si a bazillion LW fighters in the UFC.Dana can't with a straight face try to hype up all those guys ,pretending that each and everyone of them is relevant.That's what happens when you get away from signing only the winner of the TUF shows and start signing every guy.

The UFC in their greed for more money are actually diluting the market..Used to be people looked forward to that 2/3 cards to see all the big names,but now the UFC is trying to sign a thousand fighters ,to warrant making more events.
Tossing 12 minivans in with a Lamborghini does not raise the value of the Lamborghini,it actually dilutes the value.
