Is Joe Silva to blame for Jon Fitch cut?

Sure seems like it. Makes the sport less creditable when UFC officials hold personal vendettas against fighters trying to make the best decisions for their careers.

    No, He matches the fighters stylistically. He does not force them to fight each other and surely he does not make a game plan for them.

    Jon Fitch has been in a crossroad in UFC for a long time. Once a fighter is title contender then he can not face below average fighters after the loss in title contention and fighting top notch fighters you need to win decisively or lose decisively( like what Dan hardy has done) . He did not do any of them( except Eric Silva Fight) . I can not justify his cut but I do not think it has anything to do with Joe Silva.
    It is not about win or lose, it is about heart. Leave all you have in the Octagon and you are a winner in my book.

    He isn't worth the money he's being paid anymore. But I wouldn't doubt he turned down a fight offer from Joe and his little man complex and got cut.

    He wants to quietly sit on his VP throne and judge people for "not doing their job" as fighters. Just once I would like to see him held accountable for unwarranted title shots and terrible timing. Maybe learn to do your job before you help cheat hard-working people out of theirs, Joe.

    why do people all of a sudden give a **** about Fitch??

    He stalled every fight, the only good one he has is the fight with Silva but that doesn't make up for his other 13 BS wins.

    People should be mad they cut Etim and Sass. They put on good shows.

    Come on, maybe he said no to the Ellenberger fight. Maybe he got cut because he would not take it on short notice. But honestly, you guys have to see it in a different way. Fitch is boring, so be it. It's a sport. You win the way you can. If they start to cut fighters because they aren't standing up and banging, cut GSP. He is still top 10, one good grappler in the roster. It's ridiculous. That decision doesn't make sense unless it's a revenge from the UFC. And I don't mind seeing Fitch. I'd rather see Fitch than Sexyama or the Axe Murderer or a lot of meat that they put on their show. If you find him so boring, put him at the start of a PPV. first fight. He still adds a lot cause he commands top fighters. He is no slouch.

    The guy is 1-2-1 in his last four fights, which reflects what he has done for the last two years. What did you expect to happen? If I sucked at my job for two years, I would get fired too.

    All of those fighters are entertaining and were competetive in their loses. Fitch got KO'd in seconds in his fight against Hendricks and offered 0 offence when fighting Maia. Furthermore, while you may find Fitch entertaining, you are clearly a minority. His loss will not result in one less UFC fan.
