That people say machida is too small for LHW...

i mean look at him he is bigger than rashad
and obviously bigger than hendo,!

is this an excuse to say he only lost to jones cause jones is too big and machida too small for LHW ?

Obviously he's not too small for LHW if he was the champion.

I don't think anyone has actually said that. He COULD make MW easily, however. He weighed in at 201 against Bader.

And Evans is small himself in height...but hes pretty stocky normally...but judging off his comments be4 the lil nog fight and his new slimer self then yes he could be a 185er aswell

Those are reasons why people say Lyoto is also smaller for a LHW....crunch the numbers of height,reach, and whats known of some fighters walking weight it comes clear that Lyoto is just Avg all around at best

Machida is talking about moving to MW ,does he know something we don't about Anderson Silva.Could he be retiring ,or fighting at 170 perhaps.IMO Machida could definatly be champ at 185 if Silva stepped aside,Weidman and Vitor might challenge him for that spot though.

If it weren't for Anderson reigning at MW, Machida would be at 185. Lyoto is a natural MW with a skill level that allows him to compete at a higher weight class.

if silva moved to lhw, then i imagine half the lhw division would move to mw, machida included.
