UFC lightweight contender Donald Cerrone has long been known to be a free spirit and risk taker. An avid rock climber, bull rider and wakeboarder, "Cowboy" recently informed UFC President Dana White his "wild man" days are now over after walking away uninjured from a 40-foot fall during a rock climbing adventure after his safety gear failed.

A 40 foot fall is not that bad...dancing with death? Really...that's only just over 13 yards lol

I have fell from higher up then that and landed on solid ground...its not rock like he maybe could have landed on

My friend Toby (black guy which makes his name so much better) jumped off a 2 story building when drunk and landed in a parking lot with no injuries

And one of my ex football coachs got drunk with us and feel of a 3 story build porch and only broke a arm

Some could die from that fall...but i think only a 40 foot drop more times then not it living

Depends on how you land. 40 feet will not typically kill you unless you land on your head. However you could shatter a leg or both and your fight career is over. I have an older cousin that feel off a ladder at the top of a 2 story house (20 feet) and it destroyed his right leg. Very extensive surgery with rods/screws and still doesn't walk right and this happened about 15 or so years ago
