    i think these are somewhat reasonable numbers...my only thing is they should of paid liz more seeing as tho she's the main event and could use it. all in all tho think they are pretty correct when it comes to paying people about where they should be...the only other thing i would change is give kos more than lawler

    Wasnt there a rumor going around before the fight that Liz was going to only get paid 12k amd Dana dismissed it

    Well.. here we are, after Liz fights her heart out and gave the seemingly unbeatable champ everything she has she is rewarded with...

    I am saddened that the first ever title challenger in the women's division is barely making scraps though. Imagine if she would have won? The first UFC women's champion would have only made 24K...

    It's kinda pointless looking at these numbers because the UFC isn't transparent at all with their financial situation. I remember when Uncle Creepy first fought he was making 9K according to the UFC, when in reality he made nearly 10 times that amount...

    Liz wont have to worry about her rent for a while...

    900K wouldn't surprise me at all. As for Machida and Hendo they would also be guys that get PPV cuts and probably walk with 3 or 4 times what is stated here.

    The minimum for this promotion no matter the weightclass should be like 20/20 though. In 2013 still paying some fighters like 6 or 8 to show is ridiculous.

    The stars get paid though. During Liddell's reign he was making 500K to show and 500 more with the win PLUS a cut of the PPV. Liddell probably made about 3 million for the second beating he put on Tito. It had over a million buys.

    In the end no fighter should still be seeing 6 to show 6 to win that's like WEC pay for bums on the opening plelim

    It seems very similar to boxing to me, except lower for the superstars.

    Yeah pretty much but there's not that many multi million per fight boxers left compared to 10 to 20 years ago.

    True. Ali and Frazier made $2.5 million each in 1971, I wonder if any UFC fighter has made anything close, just for the fight, not endorsements.

    I still think ESPN had a point when they had a story about fighter's pay. In MLB/NFL/NBA/etc. fighters get about 70% of the total money coming in and in MMA it's about 20%ish. UFC is making a toooooon right now and it's kinda retarded for a few guys who don't fight to get more than 400 fighters combined. My personal opinion is that they should keep fighter's pay the same and not give so much to a few cats and just lower the price of tickets. Greed is the main problem and that is what always somehow leads to people losing it all
