Well it's not as good as a win, but I'm sure Dana will still give Gomi the win bonus. Gomi did such a great job and won at least the last 2 rounds for sure.
Silva. idk how i feel about Silva. I feel like anything he had going for him coming into the UFC was ripped away when Cain pulled that drive by on him back at 146. Poor guy never even saw the Astro Van coming.....

I agree,there were TONS opf dumb **** fighters on this card,it drove me nuts watching it. Sanchez would make a super half **** telegraphed TD attempt,but then just GIVE UP and back away ...wtf? He has tons of cardio,why fight like Frankie Edgar,pop pop back off?Sanchez shoudl have been all over GOmi non stop but NEVER forced continuous action. Point is ,he did not win that fight,Gomi was allowed to fight like Bj Penn,plodding around on that lead leg,throwing jabs at will.
I believe this was a case of judges counting everything Sanchez threw,even though,90% missed or hit Gomi's gloves,arms.I seriously can't stand the clouded scoring system in MMA,i prefer CLEAR cut winners,no rounds or stops.Old school UFC,one round one winner.
When i usually watch such a dumb **** fighter like Sanchez,i am relieved to see him lose because he fought so dumb,this was a sad case of rewarding a dumb losing fighter with a win.

Yup decision was a total disgrace. I had it 30-27 Gomi. Even the first round, Sanchez did nothing with his TDs and Gomi did all the damage and pressuring. I know its not Sanchez' fault but he is starting to loose me as a fan with all these BS decisions.

Diego won the first round with 3 TD to none, Gomi won 2-3 with superior boxing. That is all.

According to fightmetrics, Gomi outstruck Diego in all three rounds and was pushing Diego back through most of the fight. Will judging ever get fixed in MMA?
yeah i agree. i had sanchez winning round 1 but not by much. but who cares, that fight sucked anyways. curse you greg jackson.

i had it 2-1 to gomi, but was a clsoe fight and greg jackson in sanchez corner isnt a good thing. i like both fighters and snachez seemed hesitant to engage which is uncharacteristic of him, both have good chins so i didnt expect a ko.
I still disagree with the controversy about the Kampmann fight. Diego won two rounds of that fight. Kampmann did more damage in his moments of the fight. But Sanchez had more moments.
However, I agree that Gomi was robbed in this one. I think the first round could have gone either way and Sanchez was clearly the loser of rounds 2 and 3. Was shocked when Diego's arm got raised.
Sanchez was downright awful in this fight. He hasn't looked this bad since the Hathaway match. Yeah, Penn dominated him but that seemed more to me like Penn having a great night than it did Diego having a bad one. I was amazed he was backing up so much against Gomi. That's just not Diego. Usually he is always going forward. Heck, he tends to keep pursuing even when he's getting his **** kicked. But in this one there was very little aggression at all. It was a perplexing fight to watch. Seemed like some other guy in a Diego costume... a really boring guy. Not sure if it was an off performance or if he is washed up completely.
All the Aholes who doubted Gomi in the forum % game got a free ride and I got screwed out of the p4p #1 spot. ~X(
