UK ESPN Over runs (misses stann v silva main event!)

UK ESPN has a habit of overrunning their programming so I recorded the show after ufc Japan and it still missed out the main event. Got the fist round and a minute of the 2nd round before the programme stopped! (Thanks ESPN!)
Granted this only happens on fuel/fox cards but still it's very annoying.

Anyway what happened in the rest of the stann v silva fight and who won?

I said that during the card that people here were gonna be pissed off with the over run. I learnt ages ago to record whatever else is on after UFC cards as well just in case

Funny, I watched and recorded ESPN UK and saw the entire event. I always add an hour or so onto the end of my recording.

I was watching live, then saw the red record light vanish, quicky recorded the football review and nba. Was able to get the whole event. Its prolly be sorted for the repeat, monday night.

Yeah, didn't help it was decision city. If Wandy and Stann had gone the distance the card would've gone over an hour

Typical ESPN. I've started setting the program after to record because they always do this. Worst channel I have ever witnessed!

always set your pvr's to record whatever is on after the UFC on the EPG. it isnt the first time it has happened and wont be the last

hopefully when BT take over the channel they will do a better job

I wouldn't put it all on ESPN to be honest. Unless they've started later than the scheduled begining It'll be mostly on the actual UFC event running late. At least they showed everything after the scheduled finish. Imagine the bitching if they had cut off at half 5 as planned

it is an issue that ESPN UK have had since it started. events have run on time for PPV's and they have **** them up. ESPN UK is really crap, seriously crap.

I agree but they were showing the fights same time as everywhere else. The times i've been ****ed off with them is when they still insisted on showing events at 2-3am when they were live at 10pm

Yes, the fights were shown the same time as everyone else last night but the time slot they gave it here wasnt long enough so the programme cut off early. they included the prelims in the main card show. they screwed up
