I mean he was supposed to win that fight...is he now not riding a 3 fight losing steak?...what's next form him...his slid.down the rankings is huge now

I say Palhares or Ed Herman are the two best for him in terms of rankings and good names...maybe a rematch with Chris Leban is in order

He's actually on a two fight losing streak, having beaten Alessio Sakara between his losses to Chael Sonnen and Michael Bisping, respectively. If he loses his next fight his job could be in jeopardy, but I have a feeling the UFC would keep him under contract like they did for Dan Hardy.

I think Hector Lombard is a great option for Stann, as is Ed Herman. I'm not so sure about the Palhares suggestion, since Stann's ground game isn't the best. That said, he could do damage to Palhares in the stand up.

Guys like Stann shouldn't get cut over a couple of losses. We should cherish the guys that are willing to stand and bang. Who wants an organisation full of safe fighters trying to hang on to their winning streaks..
Did you catch the post fight presser where Wandy expressed his respect for Stann's style? Guys like him should be kept around !

Lombard would beat Stann imo I think he needs an easier fight. Herman is a good option with Stanns ground game he could struggle with a guy like Palhares don't wanna see him cut.

Stann is not a top level guy and never was. People overranked him early on, but he never really got a substantial win to make you think he's a top 10 MW.

However, he is a very exciting fighter and an extremely classy guy. I think the UFC could use a nice person who delivers exciting fights and I'd like to see him get at least one more crack at staying the UFC. I'd give him an unranked guy (out of the UFC's official top 15) and let him kind of stay as a decent undercard/early main card fighter. If he loses that, I think it would be fair to say he should be cut though

after Wanderlei fight "Stann was never that good really anyway" or "insert name should KO Stann next it will be easy" Seems about right on here.

I even read an article saying Wanderlei only won coz Stann got lured into a brawl lmfao that's Stanns style always has been give him some credit it was a legit win..
