Lol, I guess when it got officially offered to him, he turned it down. Hunt declined to comment when asked about this today

That makes no sense, he was asking for the fight on twitter. I sense someone's managers played a role here.

Edit: Overeem's "injury" is only going to keep him out for a few weeks. Why am I not surprised.

If Dana didn't offer him the fight he wouldn't be saying he turned it down. All you bandwagon Hunt fans just can't believe he lied about being "born down." You should be thankful this happened. JDS would beat him like he beat Carwin and Nelson. Hunt is way to slow. I actually like watching him fight, but anyone who thinks he can beat JDS or Cain is just plain stupid.

Can't blame him. He just got done with a fairly grueling three rounder and im sure he's a little worn from coming off injury and a full camp. JDS would have an advantage.

Timing just isn't right.
