Interesting how so many people said it was going to tank. And weird how Machida and Henderson was the worst fight of the night.

My point was that there were many people saying they will not buy it and the ones who did said they were going to buy it for Machida and Henderson and that fight ended up sucking. Just pointing out the irony.

She was handed a belt she held at Strikeforce...Owned by Zuffa. What's the difference if the belt said Srikeforce or UFC? The same female fighters were at Strikeforce. Give her the credit she deserves...she defended a belt that said Strikeforce and now says UFC. You're kind of reaching for straws.

If you're basing PPV draws off one event, She's far from the 5th highest.

Lesnar, GSP, Jones, Rashad, Velasquez, JDS, Penn, Silva, Liddell, Sonnen, Ortiz ......

well Rousey headlined 1 event it's way too early to say she's the 5th draw. Event was marketted all over the place, it was the first female MMA fight in the UFC ever and lets just say that Machida vs Henderson definitely was a sellable fight. At least I was way more interested by this fight than by Rousey's fight and I'm pretty sure I'm not alone... even though it turned out to be a **** fight..

all in all there's not enough data to pick a trend out of it and the only one data we have from her in the UFC has way too many special elements adding up to it for it to mean anything. When she can carry a **** card and get good numbers consistently I'll agree with these stats.

Too early to tell how big she is, but it is very promising that the PPV did so well. Here's hoping WMMA gets the respect it deserves in the future.

I get what ur tryin to say...if those number are true then yes her main event fight was the 5th biggest draw...but so was Liz...she should be mentioned

But it is also wrong the way they are trying to imply this date is what everyone is trying to give you **** about...the ufc is trying to imply that Ronda alone is the 5th biggest drawing fighter...this is false cuz there is not enough data...she maybe on avg the 5th cuz she only has one and thats unfair...but if u add all the buy for other guys she's not even close to the ones listed like Lesnar,randy,chuck,Penn,GSP,Silva,Jones,Rashad,ect

That's my only problem with that "division", there's nobody in it who's any good except for Ronda so they're getting all these random chicks out of the wood works to make the division seem legit when it really isn't.

I think what he meant was it was her FIRST fight in the UFC, you could have put any women in that fight and it would get a lot of draws due to it being a womans fight.

He didn't mean you can't judge it because it's one fight, I think he meant you can't judge it because she's only had 1 fight and it was a milestone fight for the UFC, in a few years she won't be getting the same numbers imo
