Who are Some Fighters that Got into the Sport at an Older Age

Needin some motivation. Looking to get back into training but will be 27 next month and wonderin if I'm gettin too old to start training again. Who are some fighters that got a late start and had success? Needin a little inspiration.

Yeah he's not great or anything I just think he's still very young 21 years old and had some decent wins already Garcia is a very experienced awkward fighter.

Well, Couture was an olympic level wrestler and had been a boxer when he started doing MMA in his 30s.
Lesnar was world class wrestler as well when he started MMA at the age of 29.
Carwin's story is pretty much the same as Lesnar's, except his wrestling credentials were a little lower.

There's no point in comparing anybody to Hershel Walker either, because he's a freak of nature. He debuted in MMA at 47, and he was a 5th-degree black belt in Taekwondo, so he'd been doing some martial arts for a long time.

I think the best example for you should be Krzysztof Soszyński.
He started training MMA at the age of 25 with ZERO experience in any martial art. He went 6-3 in the UFC with most notable wins over Brian Stann and Stephan Bonnar.

Interesting, didn't know about Soszynski, might as well give it a try hahahaha but, did Soszynski even lift before starting or not? :P
