Old vs New

Bandura

I remember those fight of the day threads and the idea donned on me for a new version.

Take a retired fighter or one past his prime and match the heyday version of him against a member of the new guard.

Now there are some really obvious options but I'd like to pepper in some that people don't talk about much.

this ^^^ Pride penalized fighters for lack of actions so Machida either loses his whole purse or gets knocked out here imo

Seriously though Prime Wand with his chin and aggressiveness gets the KO most of the time imo.

Both styles are made for the other fighter.
But people on here forget that Wandy & Chuck had granite chins back in the day, I think this would be Wandys biggest weapon & he'd get inside & knock Machida out...

Shogun WAS rushing Machida in the second fight. It was the pressure Gun put on Machida which led to the him being more offensive.

I love Wandy but his aggressive style would probably end with Machida beating or koing him.
