Hendo over Bisping the real #1 KO, and Bustamante clearly had the best Submission win.

List is bogus. How was Ronda's armbar anything special as a technique? It's on there because she's a female and not for the submission itself.

You're insane, he's the HW GOAT for a reason. Was never in 60+ professional boxing matches, ever KO'd. And he fought KILLERS. Foreman, Frazier, Norton, come on now. Ali is GOAT.

lol at George only appearing on those lists one time, for his arm bar loss to hughes.

List at least has some legitimacy.

By the way @Waikru, the ufc official channel of youtube has the videos for these. Maybe add them to the OP.

99% of mma fighter's would beat Ali in an full mma match. Many would beat him in a kickboxing match.

I'd put money on a prime pre-tap to money Bob Sapp beating him in pure boxing.

Even Canoki fought him to a 15 round draw with just boot scoot leg kicks because Ali wouldn't do full mma rules.

The Bob Sapp comment is the worst anti-boxing troll in the history of this forum. Nobody in the history of MMA or kickboxing would stand a chance against a prime Ali in straight boxing. Nobody.

The KO over Vitor was impressive, but I've never seen anything better than the Hendo KTFO over Bisping. Bisping was the epitome of a douc--he who badmouthed America and Hendo's team the whole TUF season and then had the most vicious KO loss I've ever seen. Oh, and it was at UFC 100

I think there was several thinks they were looking at when they made the list. One of the factors was probably how the finish impacted the sport at that time. The H bomb didn't change the sport and was only important in ending another TUF season. KZ's twister (my favorite submission to date in the UFC) had no major ramifications in the sport. In contrast, Silva's KO was the first front kick KO in UFC history in a heated rivalry against a guy who is known for his brutal KOs and it was a championship fight. Silva's submission of Sonnen marked the greatest comeback in UFC history, in which an undefeated champion almost suffered his first loss and almost lost his belt.

If I was to rank them strictly according to their rarity or difficulty in executing, I would give best KO to Barboza for his wheel kick and I would give best submission to KZ for his twister.

Ok i see what your saying

Even then i wouldnt neccessarily give top to Anderson

And this coming from a Pride fan lol BUT

Chucks first KO'd of Couture being right after the first TUF which drew in so many people also pushed for one of the best triologies in mma history

Significance for a submission.... could be anderson vs chael. IF it was mma id say werdum over fedor more though

Yeah, Chucks KO of Couture could have easily been number one. GSP's TKO of Hughes was huge at that time because Hughes was considered to be the greatest UFC champion ever. I think they may have pushed it Silva's way only because it was also the first front kick KO in UFC history.

I have to agree. In MMA, the greatest submission would have to be Werdum's submission of Fedor. I am not sure about the greatest KO in MMA history.
