HBO Is Making Another 'Game Of Thrones' Prequel
It looks like the Game of Thrones hype is never going to die. Never ever, ever. Ever. Ever. As HBO has officially announced that it is working on a fifth 'prequel' series.
It had previously been confirmed that four prequels were in development, however, Mr GOT George RR Martin claimed that there was also a fifth.
When Martin initially spoke about a fifth writer being recruited back in May, he said that he did not know anyone who loved Westeros, the fictional world in which GOT is set, as much as himself and "Thrones" experts Elio Garcia and Linda Antonsson.
And it turns out the man he was talking about was none other than the legend that is Bryan Cogman. In case you're not aware of Cogman, he is the man who has worked on the show in a few capacities over the years. He was most recently a writer and co-executive producer.
Cogman wrote 'Stormborn', the second episode of the last series, and 'The Broken Man', the seventh episode of season six, which saw the introduction of Lyanna Mormont.
Although we don't know much about the prequel, Martin has said that they are not spin-offs and therefore none of the current cast will be featured. Robert's Rebellion will not be the subject of any of the series either.
Please oh please make one of them about an exploration mission to Sothoryos
