Totally.

His corner should've always been counted as workin' in favour of his opponent.

Ya Silva's word means a lot,the guy does not respect MMA at all, just money,he came right out and said it.The ONLY reason he mentions Penn is because he knows he would never fight him,he refuses to acknowledge anyone he might face.

Also how many idiots in MMA just stand there with their arms down until they get KO'd ?Smart?I think not,Silva is a mind boggle, too full of himself to see anything clearly.

when i lived in hawaii we would see bj on the paper talking bout the edgar fight, then see bj walking to the beach with food in hand getting his training together lol he never really gave rats **** about training, hes a highly skilled brawler.. meaning all the knowledge in the world doesnt matter he just wants to brawl. plus its hawaii they leave work when the surf is good,i ran 7 miles in hawaii every morning then came to nevada high desert cant run more than 4 without gassing, i would never question bj's cardio on the island only off it, its different there.

I always thought it was funny how BJ's fanboys would always say:

"this is gonna be the best BJ Penn we ever saw"

"he's actually taking it seriously this time"

"this is the best training camp he has ever had"

Etc..

And then after he loses, seeing them say:

"He just wasn't himself"

"he didn't take it seriously"

"he didn't train properly"

Etc..

It's always amusing.

I expect the same from Edgar/Penn 3.

How about doesn't train nearly as hard as he could. Right there is a good enough reason to not like the guy.

It's not about liking him, it's about acknowledging him as the rightful GOAT.

BJ had the potential to be the BEST.Funny how all these Fanboys have extracted the Edgar fights from their memory's(two losses in his prime at LW that sent him running back to WW) he may be one of the biggest underachievers around.Imagine if he trained as hard as Frankie Edgar or Nick Diaz throughout his career, Then he might have been the best ever.We will never know for sure.Shogun at least had his knees to blame, He is a real Warrior when hes in the octagon, he just doesn't train hard enough
