Pretty disappointed in the beta but I guess it is a beta afterall. Still didnt expect it to be this rough though.

Can see why they delayed the game.

I'm getting constant bugs that prevent me from looking down my sights and from even spawning in. Dont remember past BF betas being this broken.

However, there are some good things. Its just a struggle to enjoy them when the game is functioning so badly.

I haven't had any of these bugs. The more annoying part is that the STG is just the best weapon by a long shot so all of the casual retards are playing nothing but the assault class.

The game is actually running pretty good on the X. Other than the squads being disabled yesterday I haven't run into any major issues.

I remember falling through the map twice a game during the Battlefield 3 beta. You ****s don't know what a buggy battlefield beta is like apparently.

I didn't really have much in the way of bugs in the little bit that I played last night.

I think the biggest thing I didn't like is the bleeding out mechanic. I know that it was in BF1 as well, but it feels a lot more annoying in this one. If they had a button that I could press to just skip right to the respawn timer, I think I'd like it a lot more.

Also, I think some of it could be the map that I played. Like, I saw one vehicle in an entire 30+ minute game of conquest. That's not what I expect from a Battlefield game.

Don't be a hold LT scrandy. Wait for the revive, you don't get back into the game any quicker by bleeding out.

Falling through the map means you actually got to spawn though...

Theres definitely potential. Rotterdam is such an awesome map and I like the gunplay overall so far but good god there are a lot of issues to fix between now and release. I really hope they do a second beta in Oct

If I'm in a position where a revive makes sense, I don't, but if I'm surrounded by enemies to where somebody trying to revive me is going to get slaughtered, or there's nobody that can revive near me, or if I don't want to be revived because I want to change my class, I will.

And in those situations, I'd rather have the option to just bypass the bleeding out screen than have to sit there and watch it.

I think pre-BF1, they had a better revive mechanic. This screen where you have to sit there and stare at your dead corpse is just annoying. The older games where you were on the respawn screen and could change your class/decide on your next spawn point while waiting for a potential revive were far better.

Also, have they gotten rid of spotting? I didn't seem to be able to do it when I played last night and if so, that's a bad change.

The new Battlefield sucks, we have to go back to Rainbow 6 12er

I’ve been on and you’ve been ducking to play can watch.

I’ll be back on 6 when the beta ends or I get sick of it.

Be honest 12er how is the beta? It's the first one I'm not doing. Dont sell me wolf tickets.

He's a paid and planted mark for EA, be careful with his opinion

It’s good. Like I said, one weapon is a cut above the rest which makes the team composition garbage. Both maps have 1 tank per side so not an abundance of vehicles either which makes all the assaults more useless than they already are.

Not super stoked about the smgs or lmgs in the beta. Can’t wait for the Thompson and BAR.

All in all, I’m happy with it. It’s open today so give it a try.

I didn't really care that much about BF5's Battle Royale mode, then I read an article about it on the EA site that used the words "Developed by Criterion Games" and now I'm fully on board.

The new official video said it takes place on the biggest BF map ever made. If nothing else I'm excited to see what that looks like

Everyone doing battle Royale is dumb. COD is having that mode too

Meh I think its a really fun game mode that gets a bad rap because its flagship game is a cartoon simulator made for fegs like TUF.

How p5p would it be if Fallout 76 adds a BR mode. That games universe is perfect for the post apocalyptic scavenger type scenario presented in most BR games.

I concur. At least Battlefield isn't doing a 100% PUBG clone like F@gnite did.

The Battlefield one is squads, with objectives to complete on the map, and tanks.

It might be cool, but I'll probably stick to good old fashioned conquest.

The grand operation is pretty lit, too.

Ok maybe BF doesnt NEED it but it could also turn out really good. Dont people always complain about COD and Madden doing the same thing year in and year out? I'm happy Dice is trying something new.

If it sucks oh well we all go back to Conquest. If its good we have a brand new way to enjoy BF. Its a no-lose situation imo.

COD Battle Royal is going to takeover and all you randoms will be playing

Is it 16 total players with killstreaks like toy race car bombs?

I invited you earlier and you went offline!

Today? I didn't end up playing, I fired it up but then my daughter started throwing a fit and I had to go tame the beast.

Watched my buddy on share play for a bit. The combat and swinging around the city looks fun.

I don’t love the combat yet, but I’m getting more used to it and I’m getting there. The swinging is excellent.

It reminds me a lot of the Batman games with those crazy long combos and dodging, just on steroids since Spidey can move around way crazier than Batman. My buddy had a 71 hit combo today.

I never played any of the Batman games. I remember playing a demo of the first one and enjoying it, but I never actually played the final game.

I have EA on perma-ban. I got burned twice by them. First on BF3; I bought a premium account or something and soon after the game stopped working because I got kicked out of every game by punkbuster. There was a fan-made workaround for it, but that stopped working too. So BF got blacklisted. Then Star Wars Galaxy of Heroes got too demanding with ridiculous monetization and straight out cheating. As I complained on the forums that I stopped using money and might stop playing totally, I got warned that I broke forum rules (speaking about not spending and quitting). Is EA the mafia?!

So there goes.

I'm putting my hopes in Fallout 76. While waiting for it, I'll continue playing World of Tanks (7+ years and going) and enjoy KotoR for the first time :)

Leading up to the beta, this was my least anticipated Battlefield game since I started playing the franchise. After the beta, it's my most anticipated.

The attrition system is great. For those of you don't know what that is, it means you start with way less ammo than past installments and you don't auto-regenerate to full health. That means that if you don't have medics and supports near you, then you are constantly at a disadvantage.

No more one man army. This is going to rid the game of hill snipers and lone wolves. People will either learn to play as a team or they'll quit.

The gunplay is fantastic and the time to kill is much improved from BF1. I didn't realize how bad Battlefield one's system was until I played it again last night. In BFV if you flank people, you can easily kill two to three people before they react, whereas in BF1 it's almost impossible to come out on top in a 2 v 1 situation because the TTK was so long.

If you are a fan of Battlefield and didn't try the beta, you did yourself a disservice. I really liked Battlefield 1, but it's a piece of hot chit compared to Battlefield V.

As someone who mostly only gets to play solo, that's probably why I didn't enjoy it as much.

If I have to rely on other people, it's probably not a game I'm going to get much out of.

That's fine, but a lot of people are acting like teamwork is a new concept in Battlefield. It's always been there, but they've just added an element that makes it even more necessary.

I'm hoping they don't buckle to the casuals who are crying about it.
