I'm a bit torn  - Vitor has the skillset, the real question will be how much agression & energy will he be lacking to go after Weidman in the same way he did everyone else?

I have no dount he will be able to throw & kick, its more a question of power & stamina. Machida seems to think the onus is on Weidman to stand with Belforthttp://www.mmafighti...elfort-standing

Hmm okay. So weidman does his usual relentless pressure, but gets caught a few times. Shoots for a takedown, vitor stuffs it. Post trt vitor stronger than expected thinks weidman, begins to wonder if posting sarky pics was so clever and in his moment of distraction Boom! Axe kick ko out of nowhere. The phenom remains an unapologetic lion. Weeping and gnashing of teeth can be heard throughout the forum.

Not sure who I want to win but I think this will happen. Maybe not an axe kick though.

If it goes past the 2nd round, I favor Chris and it will be very simmilar to Weidman vs Machida.

However- I can also see Chris trying to get in close and grind Vitor early and go for a submission.

It isn't even much of a title fight.

How is it not?

'cos super-fights are fights between title holders in different weight classes.

Weidman = champion

Belfort does not = champion

Therefore Weidman does not = super-fight

You can't call any fight with your favourite fighter in it a super-fight. Don't go buying the UFC super-fight wolf tickets, it devalues the real super-fights (of which there has been one so far)

wrong on so many levels

A super fight merely means a fight between two legendary or premeire fighters

One doe s not need to be a champ in order to qualify - hence Diaz vs Silva

Belfort is on a huge tear, so his performance will be very interesting for many reasons.

While its a bit sensational to call it a superfight, it is indeed within the realm

that's only wrong on one level then.

I would extend the definition for Diaz and Silva as they are both very recent champs.

Belfort hasn't been a champ for almost ten years.

So was Chuck v Wandy a super-fight? Jones v Belfort? Aldo v Edgar?

It can't be a superfight unless a top 15 BBC fighter is involved

Strikeforce champion as recently as 3 years ago and still the people's champion.

By your definitions, most title fights are super-fights, which i don't agree with.

This needs a poll.

I hope I'm wrong, but I don't see TRTless Vitor having any success verses Weidman. Unless Weidman undergoes chemotherapy two weeks before the fight....that might even it out.

Weidman. Has to be smart first round and get Vitors movement and punching distance right. Listen to Ray Loungo, (hard to do) and survive first round. Vitor said he had to use TRT or he could die or have serious health risks but can now compete without.  Complete b.s.

Feetor makes more mistakes and takes more risks than Macheater. Whiteman will capitalize and put him away.
