well, if you and your sister can find somewhere to set up think of the extra job satisfaction you could get.   something to aim for

how many people can truthfully say they do the job they love?

See thats the one thing I keep thinking about Im 27 and already found what I love to do

Meatloaf recipe

1 1/2 Lbs of Ground beef with seasoning of choice add 1/2 cup of oatmeal, 1 cup of milk, 1-2 eggs, 1 diced onion, 1 diced red bell pepper, 1 cup of italian bread crumbs mix it all up then sorta flatten it out on a baking pan much like a cake and spread tomato paste on it like you're icing a cake not too much just a thin layer will do but make sure the edges and top are completely covered like a cake. Bake that bad boy at 350-375 for 45-min to an hour depending on your oven.

The tomato paste might sound a little odd to some but it acts like a seal to keep it moist inside sealing in the flavor and it chars the outside giving it a sweet tangy crispy taste. The Red belle pepper gives it a little sweet pop on the inside and there is something to the oatmeal that gives it a clean taste and a tighter grain texture more like a cut of meat instead of falling apart like loose mushy burger.

Not a fan of sauerkraut but Brats are delicious. You ever used beer to boil them first then transfer to skillet or grill?

They come out awesome that way imo. This mustard is the bomb with them btw.....

I used to be one of those people that ate out every night until I got married. I only knew how to cook burgers, but I did make a really good vodka rose. I've learned a lot, but I'm still a bit timid in the kitchen and make my wife go crazy with all the questions... I'm a recipe guy first as I like to follow directions, then I put a spin on it once I'm comfortable.

My favorite is cooking and eating curries of all types. Home made naan bread also makes for a killer pizza dough.

I'm going to try Stomp's meatloaf, I'm not totally happy with how we do it here.

Good thread bro, I do enjoy cooking a lot, and had to learn very young, so for the better part of 20 years now.

I could never be a professional because Im just too slow, but at home I'll try anything with confidence.

My favourite dishes to make are penne with chicken mushroom and broccolini or asparagus depending on season in white wine and cream sauce, Beef and red wine casserole, Cottage Pie and can't beat a good roast with all the trimmings.

I also make a lot of soups and stews in winter.

I would also challenge anyone to make a better ragout or chicken schnitzel....

And as you mentioned knives im rocking these bad boys, but i also have a full set of cheapos for more utilitarian purpose lol

Yeah the first four are all Damascus steel, the bread knife and serrated utility are by RAN and the chef and santoku are Shun. The utility at the end is a ceramic by Kyocera. I really like good equipment LoL

I should add the santoku gets the most use, I really like the proportions, balance and feel.

I've never owned victorinox kitchen knives, but I used to sharpen knives in my old job and they use good steel, heard nothing but good things about them from the customers.

They would've cost about 200 quid and were the best knives i was ever gonna own.  If only I could find that truck they fell off the back of I might find another set...   :D

He's a dented can the can that just sits on the shelf because its dented. The workers dont get rid of the can either because they hope someone buys it. It just collects dust
