Watched Star Trek Beyond

I didnt really expect too much because i remember hearing it had mixed reviews when it came out, but i thought it was a decent popcorn movie.

So I had a pretty lazy weekend and spent it watching a few movies.

220px-CentralIntelligencePoster.jpg

Really funny at times The Rock & Kevin Hart just seem like a great comedy duo. Not as good as Jumanji 2 but still a solid outing from those two again. 8/10

Another fun buddy comedy type movie Reynolds and Jackson. Not the best I have seen from either guy but a decent movie to just sit back and enjoy the laughs. 7/10

After hearing how bad this movie I was I was pleasantly surprised that it was nowhere near as bad as Id been told. Yeah its not going to win any awards but as a pure popcorn movie it was actually pretty enjoyable. 6.5/10

Set in a post WW2 Japan the story follows Leto joining the Yakuza. Enjoyable overall film and great performance by Leto as always. 8/10

I Kill Giants

If you go in expecting a fantasy about a young chick smashing giants you'll be dissapoint, but it's not entirely without redeeming qualities, it is a well made movie for what it is i guess.

Watched Bright last night was actually a lot better than expected. They managed to do a hell of a lot of world building in one movie and Smith was his usual great self.

Is it weird I wanted to bang the elf?

I liked this one, Kellan Lutz ( big boy/ Herc) and Scott Adkins (bulked-up for this one/ dad) 2014 -

blue-ray rip done right, ... laser sharp vid - different storyline

*disclaimer - I am a big Adkins fanboy - 8.5

Just read the reason this was so terrible is it was originally suppose to be a franchise vehicle for Rousey's career but they found out she couldnt act and had to rewrite the script, making Wahlberg the main character instead the bad guy in the movie. Explains why he and the movie have zero redeeming qualities.

...oh my bad ,... the greatest martial arts performer in all universerses is in Mile 22, seriously > Iko Uwais

my wife's cat is named after him -

no, the cat's name is not Uwais u wiseazzes, .. this guy makes Jackie Chan & the Jet look like bishes -

if Iko and Marky Mark hook-up later in the film for an epic battle

and Wahlberg wins, ... the movie becomes instant fantasy imo -

personally, I don't think Mark could beat Keanu in a bar-fight ( Reeves trains w/ Uwais),

Malkovich could probably kick all their chit -

Rousey's got some lines, doin' some acting, sneakin' up on Carano j/k

Having PSH as a villian kinda ruined it for me more so than the slow mo's/pidgeon bs from John Woo.

Our whole cinema was in knots

lol mate, you just admitted it was bombing so i'm not imprezzed by a 6 pack of cans in a theater. The review I read of it said "it's not fair for so many to be calling it the worst movie of the year, cause it's the worst movie of the decade"
