The opening box office reflects the terrible marketing. It might have very well been a decent movie but I had no idea what it was about based on the title and the trailer, besides space.

futuristic, not a lot of dialogue, minimal interaction between Pitt and TLJ,  good visuals on good monitor. TLJ, Tyler, and Sutherland have small parts (it's all Pitt),

it's good, not very good imo, sci-fi drama -

Ugh...you know you're getting old when they're making remakes of remakes of shows you vaguely remember from your childhood.

the last movies werent even that long ago.....hollywood is just flat out of original ideas right now....this decade and the next will eventually be remembered as the dark ages of cinema I think.

I'm honestly struggling to remember the last film i saw at the cinema that wasn't a re-boot, a re-make, a prequel or a comic book film.

Inception springs to mind... but that was years ago.

If a movie that ripped off the Matrix and a Scrooge McDuck comic is the last original movie you've seen, we truly are in the dark ages.

With the MCU, the resurgence of Keanu, and sure to be Oscar winning "Dark Phoenix, I would argue we're currently in a golden age.

Prospects are looking bleak tho.

Annabelle come home

Surprised how good it was since I didn't like creation. I'd give it a recommendation to watch if you like the conjuring universe.

It was very good -

I have hope for 2020 with Tom Hanks new WW2 movie Greyhound coming out.

I usually have faith in Tom to make a great movie, the mans put out some absolute gems. Catch Me If You Can is still one of my favorite movies ever.

I like how theyre not even trying to hide how bad Bruces straight to DVD career has become. Putting the warning right in the title. 10 minutes gone is longer than I made it for his last one.

🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

What were we saying earlier this week about Hollywood originality....?

That said; will watch. I'm a sucker for all things Jurassic.  Given the newer ones seem to be mirroring the originals, and considering how awful Jurassic Park III was, i have exceedingly low expectations however.

Hollywood has run out of original ideas since around 2010 this is no suprise since the last one was terrible

Its the same writers that penned the s**t show sequel that just came out too. Expectations are low. Jurrasic World gets too much hate tho.

13+ years of hearing Jeff Anderson (Randall) say he was done with acting after Clerks 2, this is huge.

do what I do, scroll past my AV, .... works for me when I see yours

In my 10+ years of posting on sports message boards I have never done such a thing....why would I?

Just saying your reviews are written out terribly/lazily and it annoys me a bit....seems like people reading this thread deserve better from you no?

it's not a review, it;s an opinion - Pitt & TLJ are worth a watch considering what's available

How can you say this when TLJ had practically no screen time....his whole plot line was a joke and it didnt make any sense for him to commit space suicide IMO......kinda killed the whole point of Pitt going to get him apart from the anti-matter B.S.
