So far reading that Joker is a good movie....only complaint I am seeing is by the comic book virgins saying its too "realistic". Sounds like I will probably love this movie lol

Actually the rated R helps alot...I bet ALOT of good directors are tied down significantly because they have too much pressure to make money and produce a PC movie nowadays.

I still haven't seen the first one, might watch it this week as my friends want to go see the second. It does look really funny just one of those movies I never got round to.

Agreed the fight scene with Pitt & Bana was one of my favourite parts of the movie, really sold him as a demi-god without having any of the more fantastical elements.

This was actually a lot better than I expected it to be, solid action set pieces anyway. My biggest gripe was that any time the two of them were fighting their movement seemed to go super cartoony was hard to ignore.

The Dark Knight (Blu-ray).

First viewing for me, I picked it up to watch as a warm up for The Joker which I hope to see at the weekend.
Looks & sounds great with good pacing, an engaging plot and some very good scenes. It could have been darker/grittier but I enjoyed it.

I'm ten minutes into Hobbs and Shaw. I can already tell you that it's going to be a 0 out of 8, m8s.

Small comedic parts by Kevin Hart and Ryan Reynolds.

Idris Elba and Jason Statham which I normally like.

Somehow they screwed it up.

I don't know if WWE helped make it but there was Roman Reigns and a bunch of Somoans fighting cyborgs hand to hand at the end and winning.

0/8

Jesse Eisenberg has that Miles Teller effect of instantly making me not want to watch whatever he's in. Also known as the Jason Clarke effect in certain circles.

Holy chit, this was bad! A fast forward the second half of the movie, realizing it was going to be really bad -and it was. It was like The Hostel (made by the same guy) but much worse. Haven't seen this bad film in a long time, even the regular bad movies I watch with the other eye, but this I couldn't stand.

Ana de Armas being a ho is about the only redeeming quality.

I watched it twice surprisingly. It had great potential but turned out to be chit.
