I'm just hoping they both hold out.
The plan is to buy something cheap so I don't have to keep driving the Stang daily. I haven't decided if I want to just buy a $4000 car or maybe put $4000 down on a $10000 car. I'm sure I could get something that screams daily driver and gets good gas mileage for that
Had $ put away for car funds to buy something more fun. Bought an 03 Taurus a couple years back with 89k miles on it for 5,200 and got it paid off last August. Transmission goes out right after it hits 100k miles. Went back and forth with the idea for 2-3 days and decided I'd rather put $1,200 into it for a used tranny than buy a new car. Not having a car payment is just the areolas but my butthole still puckered having to drop that much $. I would suggest just buying a cheap daily driver for now until you can save up for something more fun.
