Frankie Mad He Doesn't Move Dana's Needle Anymore

Recommended Posts

http://www.mmafighting.com/2016/2/24/11105514/frankie-edgar-pissed-at-ufc-says-the-c-in-ufc-stands-for-conor

Has had 2 shots at 2 different titles and was told he could have a shot at a 3rd belt (Bantamweight) if he wanted it and was given a TUF coaching gig despite having the personality of a dead moth... and he's complaining about a guy whose had 2 title shots at 2 different weight classes and was given a TUF coaching job.

Complains about Conor getting opportunities... got a title shot after beating a random named Matt Veach, a second title shot after a loss, and 3rd title shot after back to back losses.

Complaining about Conor holding up divisions... has only fought twice a year EVERY YEAR for the last 8 years.

Look at Frankies record he has only lost to champions and Gray and even then they were razor close losses (apart from the Aldo fight a little more clear cut) his record deserves more respect than he gets from the UFC and one day this lack of respect will bite the UFC when a well ranked star leaves for Bellator

lack of respect? The guy has had more opportunities than anybody in the UFC. He was Dana's Conor before there was a Conor. How many main events has the guy been given? How many title shots? How much exposure (commercials, TUF, Dana fanboying). It's cosmic justice that a serial butt grabber is butt hurt.

Frankie was never handed opportunities he went out worked very hard and earned them by fighting and beating the best guys in a division he was far too small for. He went out and beat BJ Penn at the time no one thought he could be beat at Lightweight and then he beat him in the rematch, then in his two defenses after he showed incredible heart to draw with then beat a far bigger Gray Maynard back when Gray was a killer in the division, in fact Frankie beat the scary right out of Gray he was never the same again, The he lost his title in controversial circumstances in a fight many had him winning against a guy now fighting at Welterweight and then lost another decision to Bendo. So after his achievements at lightweight it was common sense he gets a title fight when he drops to his natural weight close and again loses a tight decision to the greatest featherweight ever, Frankie has won 5 straight all top fighters since then, 5 top wins since his last title shot a title shot that was close enough a rematch could have been instantly arranged but 5 fights 5 wins later he is still sat waiting on his title fight

I would be pissed too, this Dana character is an absolute joke when comes to the FACE of this organization.

He goes on a tirade about Yamasaki but didn't seem to mind that McCarthy allowed two fighters who couldn't even lift their arms up to continue for several minutes.Lack of oxygen, lack of blood ,delusional, brain shutting down, serious health risk, yet that was fine of McCarthy's amateur ability as a ref.

LOL look at buddy's GIF right above me,Nate holding the same move that Dana freaked out about and big fat Herb Dean is just waddling around staring like he has no clue, but that's fine with Dana though lol.

Now he goes around saying people refused the fight, yet Nurma wanted the fight and is a legit 155 fighter, where as Nate can't even make 155,they had to make a ...here it comes ...wait for it....CATCH WEIGHT.

ROFLMAO ,yeah remember the very idea that Dana was 100% against when comes to Rhonda versus Cyborg, but now all of a sudden a catch weight is perfectly fine,,HYPOCRITE much Mr.White?

Like everywhere i turn it is Dana doing or saying something to stick his foot in his mouth and make the sport and the UFC look bad.

Obviously Frankie can't take the fight But Nurm's wanted it and was refused<<<<keyword REFUSED ,really looks like fight fixing from where i stand.I bet the UFC goes out and throws a few hundred million at the casino betting on Conor,i hope Nate wins this ,so we can see Fertita freak out afterwards because he lost several million gambling on his own fight fixing.

Maybe Dana didn't complain about Kimbo vs Dada since it happened in Bellator you nincompoop.

Lol mate have you read any of RangersFC's posts? You should be as upset as I am about his choice of fighters.

Do I read his posts? Not really. I occasionally skim them, but he writes novels so I usually ignore them.

I approve of his Comber hating policy, but lately he has been spamming about that Dagescrandy and I disapprove of that.

I simply like fighters who put in the hard graft and like fighters to be shown the proper amount of respect for their respective skill sets. Do I like Khabib Nurmegedov personally well I have to say no he is a bit of a d**k and but he is an absolute beast that will take some beating. One thing is for sure though you can count on my Conor McGregor hating posts because that dislike of his CW days has turned into unadulterated hatred in his UFC days

Don't you think unadulterated hate is pretty ****ing excessive an emotion to feel towards a person who has ZERO impact on your life? Lol.

Not really he does impact on my life, MMA has been a love of mine for a long long time and he is actually spoiling it, I am sick and tired of everyone every website telling me how great he is when in fact his whole persona is just a well practised act. I seen him years ago as he beat one of the lads I liked he was just a pasty faced spotty brat (back then his acne was horrendous)acting like a child and now he skulks about as if he is the saviour of MMA (YET he does not actually do anything to help fellow professionals bar run them down)

I get Edgar's point of view BUT he is hurt and cant fight so what or why is he mad ?

He is raging at the way the UFC bends over backwards to accomodate Conor while giving no respect to guys who have earned it the hard way. Frankie and Jose Aldo where treated very badly again by the UFC yesterday when they where announced to the world as "Having refused the fight" in reality the UFC tried to get two professional fighters who had earned their rights to respect as former champions to take a fight on 11 days notice knowing that (a)They had not been in training (2) It was at a higher weight class, Elite fighters should not be seen as cannon fodder or guys to throw into fights

He's mad because he tore his groin and Dana is being a lying **** like usual and probably telling people "Frankie turned this fight down, no one wants to step up and fight this guy!"

My brain hurts every time I read past the first line of one of your posts. I have never known any poster be so obsessed with a fighter as you are with Mcgregor, I think you need mental help. It's like you know the guy personally and he ****ed your wife or something.

Not reading all that. Refer to the OP m8 or bullet your argument for me like follows.

  •  Frankies 1st title shot came off a win over a guy who was 1-0 in the UFC (Matt Veach) while Maynard simultaneously was on a 8 fight win streak. One of which was over Edgar.
  • Frankie's 2nd title shot came off a loss.
  • Frankie's 3rd title shot came off back to back losses.
  • 11 of his last 12 fights have been main events. The 12th was a co-main event for one of the biggest events of the year.
  • Endless hyperbole and fanboying over Edgar from Dana.
  • TUF coaching exposure.
  • UFC of Fox commercials.

Is that what you mean by accommodations?

Apparently Dana offered Edgar the fight after RDA was out & Edgar said no. All these **** who turned down the fight have been in the UFC & MMA for ages, theres always a chance someone would pull out of the fight & theres big money to be made, stay ready. You don't have to have a full on training camp to stay in fight ready condition.

The FW title and not fight at FW. The way it's looking it will be 3 fights before Mcgregor even thinks about a FW title defense

If you were at your job working away, then just got back from your job and didn't have to do your job for 2 weeks then decided you know what i'll spend time off of my job...getting good at my job. Then got injured and and told your boss i need to sit out for 4 weeks and your boss was like "Sure thing aslong as you are good to come back to your job after the 4 weeks" then you see someone at your job tell the boss they can't do a shift and your boss rings you up and says "Hey mate i know you've been off for a while but your recovery has been going well right?" Fancy coming in and doing their shift...it might set you back from coming in to work but need this quick favour. You also get a bonus but it will effect your chances of promotion if you don't perform on the night...oh it's in Two weeks btw."....You would probably be like "Nah mate i'm off sorry"

In my unbiased opinion, there has been a recent tipping point and now the haters, not the lovers are the problem.

As a contrarian indicator, i hope you will now rejoin team ginger.

I'd like to point out that Frankie has no right to complain about stalling a division...look what he did to LW division for ages with rematches...forced people on mad win streaks to take a back seat...now he is pissed they are doing it too him.

If Conor had only mentioned holding the FW & LW titles at the same time to Dana privately in discussions they may have told him to F off, but he didn't, he just blurted it out in public with the media present & theres not much Dana could do. Skills. Edgar needs to shut up & play the game like Conor.

A lot of people got the offer including Aldo, who was super desperate to fight Conor again, suddenly isn't in shape, whats he been doing all this time? Cerrone said yes, I think he would have been a more exciting prospect than Diaz.

Oh God just what we need another Diaz fan.

It's what receives the most likes.

In case you haven't noticed, that basically dictates almost all behavior on this forum.

That's only because of RangersFC. That is karma for us having to deal with Cole though.

The only time where it benefited Frankie was the 2nd fight vs Benson. All of the other rematches that held the Divison up were fights he won so if the UFC wants to give them rematches that's not his fault. 2nd all of those fights were at lest at LW. Conor is fighting at WW and his next fight will be at LW. Neither are in the same weight class as the title he is currently holding.

Actually says Frankie has been off training for weeks due to a torn groin.

CAnnot fight.

Is mad because Dana is telling everyone he turned down the fight when he already knew Frankie was out.

u meaning to tell me his jimmies are so fragile he tore them?

There was a whole bunch of lightweights that got ****ed over by Frankie when he had the title...they were on legit streaks and none of them got shots because of his rematches...he can't moan because it's happening to him. He stalls the division...someone else stalls the division...he can't whine about it. He is like Reverse Pettis in this situation...No Legs....to stand on.

Who the **** are you talking about?

BJ Penn had cleaned LW out. There were no more LWs to fight except Frankie and Maynard.

Frankie beat Penn.

Then beat him in the inst rematch/

Then fought a draw against Maynard who was the undisputed number one contender.

Then fought a rematch against Maynard.

Then lost the strap to Henderson.

Who did he duck or rob of a shot?

How is it Frankies fault that BJ Penn got two undeserved rematch, and his win over Maynard was scored a draw?

Just be glad the judges robbed Frankie in his second fight with Bendo or he would have had to do an immediate rematch with that WCC.
