Bit of fun, who you guys got as the best and worst signings of the season?

Best is a bit of a no brainer with salah

Worst for me is Siggurdson, 50 million for a mediocre midfielder.

Lmao once you liked it I thought I'd made a mistake. I'm getting used to being up at 5am again lol.

Oh bubba don't be a casual classic Liverpool fan with pogba. He's not being near his price tag but 6 goals and 12 assists is more than most CMs lol.

Bringing us back together how glad are we that Robertson scored his first Liverpool goal yesterday :D.

There's plenty worse than Arnautovic. In fact he might get player of the season for West Ham. Top goalscorer that probably kept them up!

You can pick a few from Everton just because of the fees paid but Davy Klaasen stands out at 25m. Whilst not a permanent Sanchez for Swansea is up there. What happend to him mauropedrosa?

I think he lost possession about 20 times in 17 minutes in one game. I'm assuming someone took him round back and shot him after that.

Lmao bruh you seem like a cool dude, but Joselu makes me sad.

Thoughts on your club moving forward? My mates a Newcastle fan so I follow them a bit. Hope you keep hold of lacelles, guys a tank.

Lol, I think all fans recognise pogba was a rip-off mate.

Yeah, was pleased for the lad. Nice to see Solanke score as well.

He was, but I personally think he can improve. He clearly has quality. If klopp/guardiola/potch was managing him rather than the football destroyer I think he'd be playing much better. I'll argue this to death mate, not because I like pogba, just because I hate mourinho and his football ruining ways lol. Edited by NoCakeForYaya

Mourinho needs to start every game 1-0 down for the benefit of the entire league

Thing is with Joselu is whilst he cant hit a barn door with a banjo you gotta measure these things on risk and expectation. He was bought out of necessary rather than want. Not even Benitez expected him to be anything other than what he is, bang average, but that's what you get for a 5million prem player. He works hard for the team though and can listen to instruction. Played over 20 games this season scoring 4 in a team that would of been on many lists as relegation candidates, that ended up finishing in the top half of the table. You could argue that he was more of a success than a failure....if you were really got at arguing!

How do we do next season? that depends on 2 men. Mike Ashley and Rafa. Mike sells and Rafa stays. Mike offers ample investment and Rafa stays, Mike fcks about playing his usual games and Rafa could leave, some team surely is willing to pay the 5/6 million clause in Rafa's contract? The rest will fall into place if Rafa is in charge next season. Players will want to stay and also join. Id be happy with an improvement on 10th, a push for Europe would be nice, with a little cup run in between.

Keeping hold of Rafa is key mate. You've got a great manager there.

they were saying on bt yesterday, and I kind of agree with it, that every team under the top 6 are in a relegation battle from the very start of the season.

I like the guy and still belive in him, but Morata for 90 million has looked rough

Renato Sanchez? What's gone on? He fits the bill for worst signing for me, seeing that Swansea were relagated.

Our Best and worst came in January:

Best Martin Dubravka, the lads the nuts, came in made a debut against Man U that will go down in history. Shored up the defence with his communication, shot stopping and cross stopping. English is his second language but he probably speaks it better than me!  Did anyone see his 2 worldys yesterday?

Worst: Slimani. 4 games no goals and a 3 match ban. Didn't work out, if he didn't get that 3 match ban it could of been different for him. Shame, I like him.

I watched Renato's very first games for Benfica and he has a lot of talent but was always a little reckless with the ball for a central midfielder. He needs a great coach - Sir Alex would have been perfect - to reach his potential

Signing of the season for me is Ederson, 16 clean sheet and a title in his first season. I believe his passing percentage is around 90% too? The lad could play outfield if he wanted. Close 2nd has to be Mo Salah, no need to explain why.

Worst signing of the season. You can pick a number of Everton players. I said in the summer that I think they will be in trouble with the amount of money they seemed intent on wasting, I don't know how rich the club is but if they aint loaded enough so that they can go again spending big, then they've gotta be careful next season relegation whilst unlikely would be crippling. Ill stick Siggurson in, 50 mill was a joke, even at todays prices. But at least he put in some decent performances. Davy Klaassen on the other hand at £25 mill takes the biscuit with 4 starts, they'll be lucky to recoup 10 mill. Surprisingly ill add Michael Keane, at 30 million he has had a very poor season, only 2 clubs let in more than the 46 Everton let by.

Finally Renato Sanches for relegated Swansea. Came with so much promise and never once looked anything but a lower league player. Only managed 12 games.

That pass alone is unforgivable. FYI he thought the red advertising logo was a player. At least it was accurate!!

Lol, that's not even an argument.

If a team is invincible they shouldn't need to blatantly dive to get dodgy penalties or play for draws at home to preserve their 'invincible' record.

The Chelsea team that won the league the year after arsenal was arguably better; citeh are streets ahead.

This hasn't been a vintage season but those losses against United and Liverpool do count against them though because

Big Sam and moyes sacked in the same day. Who'd have thought?? Now how can that happy coincidence end up I wonder...

Conte to follow by the end of the month with Zidane close behind.

Talks that Rangers are putting a £4 million bid in for Skirtel lol

The only thing Stevie G is going to accomplish there is helping them get liquidated for the second time haha.

Skrtl would instantly be the best centre back in the SPL.

Mind you, nocake would probably make the top ten.

He would still do a job for sure but couldn't see him being top boy nowadays his pace was starting to go at Liverpool.

I love this idea that everyone in the Scottish league's are a bunch of one eyed amputee's lol Tiereny would run rings round him.

If we can keep hold of him lol.

Is this England's least creative world cup squad ever? Not all Southgate's fault tbf; pretty slim pickings out there but this is not a team to get excited about.

Also....Where have all the English centre - backs gone??

Watching this world cup from behind the sofa.

Lol. You don't want to do this s&p.

At least Porto and Liverpool have never lost 7-1 in a semi - final.

That was very unnecessary, Bubba.

For once, I wish you and Mauro would take my soccer insults without saying anything back.

The whole 7-1 thing is still something that hurts me .. thanks.
