Congress Votes To Kill Protections For Wolves, Bears On Alaska Refuges

Following in the footsteps of their House colleagues, Senate lawmakers on Tuesday approved a measure to repeal an Obama-era rule that largely banned hunting of Alaska’s most iconic predators on more than 76 million federal acres.

The Republican-sponsored legislation would undo the Alaska National Wildlife Refuges Rule, ultimately opening the door for the state to resume aggressive predator control tactics, including shooting bears and wolves from airplanes and killing cubs and pups in their dens.

The only thing standing in the way of the GOP-backed measure becoming law is Donald Trump’s signature.

That sounds like a pretty **** law to me

So what I'm hearing on CNBC, CNN, ABC, etc (as I type) .. is that Putin & Trump are about to

orchestrate a second gas attack that will result in an American/ Russian conflict ending in an

eventual diplomatic victory for America . Putin will do all this (quote) " To prop-up his friend in

the White House " & for future considerations .

That's pretty far out there, it's no wonder why the lib media have no audience . I knew that the libs

had lost it, but I did not realize it was to this degree - smmfh .

I wonder how many never Trumpers, especially the ones who went on full meltdown when he actually won, believe all that kek that the media fling at them.

I also wonder how many people who swore to leave the country if Trump won, actually left. Didn't Nikki tell the forum she was leaving?

Maybe she did. Did anyone get a heads up?

It's really amazing that these psychotic media libs don't realize how average independents & moderate liberals perceive

the nonsensical spewic anti-Trump theories they try to advance on a daily basis & they apparently don't care about

Agreed, and re-running Hillary in '20 ... hello ? I watched her speech in NY last week, she is definately

gonna go for it again although I'm not convinced she can get past Biden .

Either one of those two would get hammered by Trump, he's already done enough to secure the next

Yeah I like Corbyn personally but the party hates him.

I think he's incredibly naïve pretty much backing a general election just now though. All other party's should real be digging their heels in and saying no.

May is a typical torie she's spotted a spell of weakness and sees this as her best chance to sure up another Torie government.

Labour have no chance, but I don't see the huge majority that the tories want materialising.

My biggest regrets about this is that we now have sturgeon piping up again plus all my fb friends are suddenly political analysts...

Win or lose May will be looked back upon as the one who continually poked the bear when it came to Sturgeon.

A lot of the problems she's facing with her now have come from her refusal to work with Sturgeon earlier and I have no interest in the whole mess lol just an observation.

I'm no May defender, but why would she work with someone who wants totally different things anyway?  Sturgeon was going to find an excuse to make everything about another independence vote no matter what happened.  She doesn't give a stuff about Scotland's issues, she's obssessed with independence, just like that muppet Salmond.

Unfortunately, i find it hard to see either of them on the tv without wanting to punch it.

I think it was more down to the way she treated the departure of the EU and that was just compounded by the fact that she's denying her another referendum when in truth I think if she had given her it then I think she would have simply been giving Nicola the rope to hang herself with. Think it would have another no and that's the snp independence discussion done for at least another 10-20 years.

.... T-Fo, I would like your opinion on this idea >

Without question Trump will also have the next SC nomination, .. if I'm Trump & I'm seeking Democratic support

to move my agenda forward, I would approach the libs with this offer > " Work with me on a, b, c, etc and I will

nominate Merrick Garland (a centrist) -

Think about what this would do to the libs, it would probably cause a cataclysmic implosion & totally expose the

far left traitorous psychos (Schumer, Waters, Perez, Franken, Warren, etc.) from the more sensible Dems that

actually understand that Trump isn't going away & his 2nd term is guaranteed bcoz they lack sensible leadership .

78% of Democrats believe their party is going in the wrong direction so you can see how that will translate at the

polls in '20 -

Difficult choice to make Zerk.

It makes sense for Trump to stack the deck as regards the SC, especially in light of his first 100 days and the ease in which a liberal judge/court can put the stoppers on any plans he might have. If he can tip the balance heavily in favour of Conservative leaning judges i'd say go for it because you know that's the game the Dems will play if given half a chance.

If i've learned anything about American politics in the last few months it's that the real power lies with the courts so my choice would be to stack em high, lol. I'd even be thinking about bumping a few of them off, to create a few vacancies, heh.

I get your point about Schumer, Perez, Pelosi, Waters, and the rest, and it would be nice for Trump to put them on the hook, but i think everyone can already see how bizarre their behaviour has become and to be honest, it seems that the reality is most people don't care. You've only got to look to this forum to see how irrational people are when it comes to Trump. Too many people are turning a blind eye to the behaviour of the Democratic crazies, too many people are willing to ignore what they're doing or even justify what they're doing just because of some ****ed up hatred they have of Trump, and his policies.

It would be a big step in the right direction to have some Dems on board and Garland wouldn't be a bad choice for the SC but i wouldn't chance it. By taking control of the SC Trumps giving the middle finger to Schumer and his pals in the best possible way, and if he achieves nothing else as President, that one feat will cement his legacy for decades to come.

Just think m8. 10, 20 maybe 30 years of Dumbocrat's crying themselves to sleep at night!!

I disagree. Trump won a strategic electoral victory but lost the popular vote by a wide margin. His base seems to be happy with him -- but he hasn't expanded his base at all.  And outside of his base the Trump-hate is pretty high.  And the Democrats will study the 2016 election and make appropriate strategic corrections for 2020.

I think the odds are against Trump winning a second term.

lmao! I had that experience once. Light's out, drunk didn't even notice it. When i went to the bathroom i wondered why my mouth tasted like copper. Started brushing my teeth and noticed when i spat out it was red then it hit me. Walked back into the bedroom turned the lights on and there were red finger prints on the wall, sheets were rekt and she was cleaning herself with a towel. I almost got upset at first for not telling me but i was like oh well zero **** given.

Any Democrat with an ounce of decency will be disgusted with the antics of the party leaders. I would assume that that will be reflected in any up coming elections.

If not, shame on them, and they will truly get the party they deserve.

What's your take on your theory Zerk. I've just listened to Schumer saying the Democrats wont work with Trump on his tax reforms, so, no surprise there then, and we can add that to not working on immigration reform, the border wall etc, the healthcare bill, and on and on and on.

What a crazy ****ed up system! It's like watching kids in the schoolyard. It's sad that the American people actually support this kinda chit.

So, with that being the case, more and more do i think that Trump should stack the courts with conservative judges if given the chance because sanity no longer applies in regards to politics in the USA. He should also stick to his guns and keep doing what he's doing. If results from his policies are forth coming, better healthcare, lower taxes, a healthy and growing economy, the upcoming elections should take care of themselves, especially if he achieves success despite the opposition from the Democrats.

Trumps problem with the republicans is that they aren't playing as a team.  Trump's problem with the democrats are they are playing as a team.

We all win if the politicians stop with the team playing...

15 charged in attack on Macedonian parliament that hurt 100

5e35a8be450540c38fa85e4587ae8e65-780x547

Social Democrat party’s vice president Radmila Sekerinska has her hair violently pulled, as supporters of the country’s dominant conservative party invaded parliament, in Skopje, Macedonia, Thursday April 27, 2017. Police said over 100 people were injured during the Thursday night violence inside and outside parliament that followed the election of a new parliament speaker. Sekerinska said she required three stitches and injured her neck when two individuals attacked her inside parliament. Television footage from Thursday night showed a man grabbing her by the hair and twisting her around violently during the melee. “We were more shocked than afraid. I cannot forget the faces of those who attacked me,” Sekerinska told The Associated Press Friday.

Months of political tensions in Macedonia boiled over Thursday night over disagreements about the election of a new parliament speaker. More than 100 people were injured, most of them protesters. Police officers and about a dozen lawmakers also were injured.

The reason: SDSM and the Albanian parties had the audacity to elect as speaker Talat Xhaferi, an ethnic Albanian from the Albanian Democratic Union for Integration (DUI) who once served as deputy defence minister. The protesters, calling themselves "For a Shared Macedonia" movement claimed SDSM staged a coup with Albanian backing.

They see a plot to transform Macedonia into a binational state abetted by the West and sinister backroom operators such as philanthropist George Soros, the bete noire of the nationalists. Lately, there have been even calls for a wholesale "de-Sorosisation" of the country. They have become the staple of Macedonia's principal centre-right party, VMRO-Democratic Party for Macedonian National Unity (VMRO-DPMNE), which is the driving force behind the "civic" protest escalating into mob rule.

So speaking of politics, the good old UK goes to the polls in 3 weeks time.  Unlike our cousins across the sea, we have a lot more choices of who to vote for.

We have 3 main-stream parties.  We can vote for a nice guy who hasn't got a clue but wants to run the EU referendum again.  Or we can vote for a Cruella deVille lady who basically hates slackers, will probably look after the economy better than most, but doesn't care how many poor people get eaten to make that happen.  Or we can vote for a kind geography teacher who has some very old skool but fair ideas yet sadly has all the leadership qualities of a lemming.

If you're lucky enough to live in Scotland you can also vote for someone who will hold the Scottish independence referendum again, and if you live in Wales you can vote for someone who can barely string a sentence together.

Everyone also has the chance to vote for people like this outlandish buffoon who has no policies but just wants his moment in the spotlight.....I mean the guy on the right obviously.

Fortunately none of our candidates are in league with communists so i ain't complaining.

Turkish President Erdogan’s bodyguards clash with protesters in D.C

Guess his bodyguards must have diplomatic immunity as well cops barley laying a hand on them while they are kicking people in the face.

I hope he wins but I can't see it, Theresa May just seems like a power hungry old crow and the whole dementia tax thing made me feel physically sick. The lib dems guy wants to legalise weed so he can't be to bad either lol.

It's funny how that "dementia tax" seems to have struck a strongly negative chord with voters....It's kind of what annoys me about politics; people are probably going to change their vote based on this plus fox hunting.  I think both ideas suck, but are they really the most important issues at the moment??

I think Corbyn's stuck to his principles and will be rewarded for it.  Polls still have the tories miles ahead, but look at the pictures of the streets whenever he speaks.  He's generating passion in a way we haven't seen in this country for years.  We've had 12 months of shocking election/referendum results; don't be surprised if a Corbyn win is this election's shock.

In other news, i enjoyed Sturgeon getting shouted down by Ruth Davidson immensely.

The fox hunting thing wouldn't decide my vote I just thought it was a dumb thing to even bring up she's alienating a lot of people to keep her friends in the country club happy. The dementia tax either but its the cover up that's going with it that I find more disturbing they are buying up Google ads to try and replace all the top negative headlines about it with they're own website. Basically trying to stop information from their manifesto being readily available.

After the US election nothing shall surprise me.

Bubba did you watch the debate's last night?

Yeah, watched most of them.  Thought Corbyn was much more on the ball than May.

I'm sticking with my prediction that he's going to be our next PM.

What did you make of it?

Think i might place my first ever "protest" vote this election.  I'm in Jeremy Hunt's constituency; guy's got a 28,000 majority (4th biggest majority in the country), so there's clearly only going to be one winner, but there are a couple of "one policy" candidates going up against him.

Yeah he seemed more able to bounce back from the grilling's he was getting from Paxman (got to say I thought Paxman was a quite a bit easier on May.)

I personally didn't think he stood a chance until last night, I think everyone knows now why she won't debate him one on one now, he's far more acclimatised to facing the hard questions and because he does so much more media.

You could also feel passion from Corbyn when he was quizzed on his issues with nuclear weapons. That's something I never feel when you hear May speak it always seems rehearsed and forced down your throat.

Now going to be voting for Corbyn with a little more hope that he can win against May.
