.... T-Fo, I would like your opinion on this idea >
Without question Trump will also have the next SC nomination, .. if I'm Trump & I'm seeking Democratic support
to move my agenda forward, I would approach the libs with this offer > " Work with me on a, b, c, etc and I will
nominate Merrick Garland (a centrist) -
Think about what this would do to the libs, it would probably cause a cataclysmic implosion & totally expose the
far left traitorous psychos (Schumer, Waters, Perez, Franken, Warren, etc.) from the more sensible Dems that
actually understand that Trump isn't going away & his 2nd term is guaranteed bcoz they lack sensible leadership .
78% of Democrats believe their party is going in the wrong direction so you can see how that will translate at the
polls in '20 -
Difficult choice to make Zerk.
It makes sense for Trump to stack the deck as regards the SC, especially in light of his first 100 days and the ease in which a liberal judge/court can put the stoppers on any plans he might have. If he can tip the balance heavily in favour of Conservative leaning judges i'd say go for it because you know that's the game the Dems will play if given half a chance.
If i've learned anything about American politics in the last few months it's that the real power lies with the courts so my choice would be to stack em high, lol. I'd even be thinking about bumping a few of them off, to create a few vacancies, heh.
I get your point about Schumer, Perez, Pelosi, Waters, and the rest, and it would be nice for Trump to put them on the hook, but i think everyone can already see how bizarre their behaviour has become and to be honest, it seems that the reality is most people don't care. You've only got to look to this forum to see how irrational people are when it comes to Trump. Too many people are turning a blind eye to the behaviour of the Democratic crazies, too many people are willing to ignore what they're doing or even justify what they're doing just because of some ****ed up hatred they have of Trump, and his policies.
It would be a big step in the right direction to have some Dems on board and Garland wouldn't be a bad choice for the SC but i wouldn't chance it. By taking control of the SC Trumps giving the middle finger to Schumer and his pals in the best possible way, and if he achieves nothing else as President, that one feat will cement his legacy for decades to come.
Just think m8. 10, 20 maybe 30 years of Dumbocrat's crying themselves to sleep at night!!
