Who's your team/who are you rooting for? What series are you looking forward to most? Me personally I'm a bruins fan and am super excited for that series. I'm also really excited for SJ vs Edmonton and Anaheim vs Calgary. The Rangers/ Habs series should be lit too.

Have determined through scientific methods that hockey playoffs actually are more boring than basketball playoffs. Although both suck.

The 70's, 80s, and 90's were the best for hockey fights, especially in the playoffs. I still agree with you that the NHL playoffs are the most intense. My Sharks are banged up, but I still think we beat Edmonton, and make another deep run.

Wild will lose in six.

Leafs are gone in five.

Hawks win in five.

McDavid will smash the Sharks.

Boston will take out Ottawa in six.

Anybody I didn't mention doesn't matter.

Been an Oilers fan for over 30 years, good and bad.
I am hopeful they go far, would love to see the cup come back to Edmonton after the last 10 of the last 11 years of the worst management in sports History

I hate Edmonton but they have a good chance to take it all, hope they lose in the first round. My Calgary Flames probably won't make it out of the first. But anything can happen.

Edmonton has been really good in the last few months. But doing a series against the wild, or especially  Chicago would be hard on the young team. They have the skill, but those would be some very tough roadblocks

Keep overlooking the Sharks! That was a backbreaker for Edmonton, especially at home.

I'm Not overlooking anyone. Oilers are a young skilled team. They can go far, or they can get bullied like they did after the first period last night. Only time will tell.

I just didn't put The sharks in the same frame as Chicago because they are not that good. They are a good team, but they are beat up and have had a bad end of the season. That's not to say they are going to go out in 4 with their tail between their legs.

Should be a good series either way.

The fact that you were commenting on the Oilers chances against Minnesota or Chicago indicates you are overlooking the Sharks. Don't worry about the Wild or the Blackhawks, because Edmonton won't beat the Sharks.

Guess you ignored the post where I Said I hope they go far. Hope being the key word.

I believe Edmonton could very well run over the Sharks in the next 4. On the opposite side I think the Sharks grit could put away Edmonton in 4.

That said, if or when Edmonton moves on, I don't think they could easily beat Washington, Minnesota or Chicago.

So if that's overlooking the Sharks, then I guess I am.

P.s. **** your Sharks

Where's the old ducker Sharks fan.

Even CB has to admit that the Oilers embarrassed the Sharks in every fashion if the game tonight.

Shots
Goals
Hits
Penalty kill
Short handed goals.

Even with all the stupid penalties they tool, they do trolled the ice one man down better than the Sharks with 5.

Was good hockey.

I'd actually say Kassian and Talbot did.

So who knows. Good hockey none the less. It'll be sad to see you disappear from this thread when round 2 starts and Thorton and the Sharks are playing Golf.

It's only one game. This is where hockey isn't as good as it used to be. Edmonton is just cheap shotting every chance they get, and 20 years ago they would fight in those situations.

Both sides are playing rough. Your crying over payoff hockey?
Oilers are **** the bed bad, frustrations are up and when they get hacked, they are retaliating. Big deal.
