1. the ref stopped the fight because he thought it was an illegal move. the fight was not stopped because he thought it was a tko. Weidman had 5 minutes to recover. big jon McCarthy said the knee was legal on replay to the ref in the cage. the ref in the cage then changed his mind and said knee was good. doctors who had no clue of the rules said the fight could not continue because they were fooled when Weidman was milking the 5 minutes to recover from being tired, that he can legally do. Weidman was taking advantage of 5 minute rule and could not be punished for that.
2.the replay was too close to determine if the knee was touching weidmans head when weidman had 2 hands down, there is no camera angle that shows that. weidmans hand did go up but it was during the knee to the head so if this video was in a nfl game the refs would say inconclusive. so as a result of it being inconclusive, you go with the refs original call
3. there is no instant replay in the state of new York for mma fights so the original call stands
4. in no situation can this be a win for mousasi. its either a no contest or the fight continues. since the fight did not continue the call should be a no contest
in a professional business that has rules like the ufc it must be ruled a no contest
