bisping may have the heaviest hands in the division but he's not gonna be able to do much with him when he's on his back the whole fight getting his oil changed

Wut

The underdog has been fighting consistently and just beat the more athletic, bigger, stronger version of GSP in Rockhold.

The favorite has been sitting on his butt for four years after losing to a mediocre fighter handily.

i think bisping takes this rather easily, a technical striker with a good jab and good tdd who also has good cardio is going to dominate gsp at a heavier weight class.

GSP cant KO bisping
GSP has worse striking than Bisping
GSP will be tghe smaller guy
GSP's TDs whilst good wont be effective vs bispings movement

Bisping wins possibly with a finish.

Good post bro

I wouldn't have a clue how to call this.

GSP is the far better technical fighter and a much smarter fighter.

Bisping is no slouch with his TD defense and his boxing.

He will also be the bigger person and not coming off a multi year lay off.

I would say everything should point to Bisping getting a 3 round - 2 decision.

That said, maybe GSP comes back and his layoff makes him a sloppy fighter and Bisping gets a ground and pound TKO. Or GSP is more focused and pulls another unanimous 5 round decision.

I know a few things fore sure.
GSP's face will look like a train wreck

GSP will not knock Bisping out

The trash talking with be so pathetic between the two, and they will both try so hard, it will be cringe worthy.

That said, will sell better than most other PPV and probably 10 times what Woodcan vs GSP would have sold.

Good point but in my mind if GSP is coming back then he's probably taking it seriously and is in great shape. imo he doesnt seem like one of these athletes who blew all his money on dumb ish and is now just trying to line up a desperation fight.

I think GSP can beat Bisping on pure technique but the interesting thing is going to be if the size difference is enough to swing the balance in Bispings favor

Most said octagon rust isn't real and only an excuse if you're not prepared.

Look at Jon Jones and Dom Cruz neither suffered from such a thing because their championship level.

I agree that veteran fighters should be able to lay off and come back

someone like Cody maybe less so. If he ends up being off 2 years I think he needs some warm up fights.\\

also the thing about bisping is that GSP only has to be a little off in order for him to take advantage of it. he is also a veteran fighter and is actually a dangerous striker. Ask Cung Lee.

3rd round KO victory yes i would say he looked good.

May ate a few shots but people are acting like he was fighting a complete can and getting tagged.

If he looked bad and still destroying the roster then what that makes the rest of the division?

When you have those types of advantages you shouldn't get hit at all. He lost at least 1 round going into the 3rd and was losing the 3rd before the head kick landed. Does that sound like a normal Jones fight?

Well he not Floyd Mayweather he gonna take some hits now being at the top level fighting #1 contenders training relentless to attempt to take the crown.

We all know his height and reach is a huge advantage for him. DC was charging forward on Gus who have similar build and was tagging him as well especially with them clinch uppercuts. I'm sure his camp thought he have success on Jones same way in which some ways he did until the kick.

Dc only lost like what? maybe a total of 8 rounds in his whole career and 5 of those was to Jon Jones himself? So yeah its normal for him to be in a battle with his arch rival that's been training 2 years to try to beat him in a rematch fight that none of Jones opponents have ever had ever.

I'm not saying Jones looked his best but to say he looked bad or terrible is a bit misleading.

The point is, Jones got tagged as much as he did when he should have barely been touched in the stand up.

Jones looked like ****. Just because he got a great head kick doesn't eliminate the fact that he was a shell of his former self.

Maybe it's ring rust or maybe he just doesn't give a **** anymore. But he did not look good vs DC

i actually thought jbj looked alright, but dc was on a mission and he went after him a little too much and got caught.  maybe emotions got the better of him?   i actually had dc winning the first two rounds but it probably could have gone either way. jbj was taking his time.

this would not happen with a cerebral gameplan fighter like gsp.  bisping could talk all the chit he wants to try to get into his head but gsp would just have his way with him anyways

You can't have a superfight involving one guy that's been hiding for four years, and another guy that has zero title defenses that mean anything, and one eye to boot.

its a superfight

here we have the p5p best fighter on the planet who got bored and walked away with his title coming back to fight the middleweight champ

it doesnt get any more superfight than that.   penn vs st pierre 2 was the last true superfight we got the pleasure of witnessing, but bisping/gsp trumps it.

actually none. He's boring and horribly lame. Made very fight he was in a snoozefest. And Hendricks pushed his **** in and made him hide for 4 years
