and BJ Penn and Anderson Silva

and what kind of new math got you to Conor being 1-2 in his last 3? Is his MMA record combined with his boxing record? What happened in that fight is completely irrelevant to his UFC tenure.

Even if you ARE combining his two records he would be 2-1 in his last 3. Unless you're one of those "zOMG Nate got robbed!!" guys that refuse to acknowledge the fact the fight was extremely close and could have gone either way because you don't like the fighter that got the decision.

Didnt he fight Diaz twice and then TBE for his last three?

No.

His last MMA fight was winning the LW belt from Eddie.

You mean because he did not fight Jones ?

I mean those were the three safest fights in the history of MMA. All three guys are aggresive strikers with no head movement and just lumber forward flailing their arms. I mean are you **** kidding me?

He shouldn't be forced up of course unless the division closes down but he needs to stop complaining about his pay scale. The road to more riches is right there for the taking, however he would much rather be a safe can and stay in his own lane fighting a bunch of D level "contenders".

In the middle of being a casual idiot?  He fought Diaz in back to back fights at 170 you dummy.  The champion at 170 is Tyron Woodley...

His last fight in the UFC was at 155 for the lightweight championship that he won.  Nate Diaz was never a lightweight champion.

I saw it dumb chit.  McNugget was going to fight Dos Anus for the lightweight title and he pulled.  In steps Nate Diaz... not the LW champ.  Conor lost and demanded an immediate rematch and before said rematch took place Dos Anus got caught by Alvarez.

You can't really come off looking any worse, casual.

IMO he should stay there forever and keep destroying people and further cement the legacy.  Unlike most here, I like the division and think if he could stay there for another 3 years and 10 more fights - there would be no dispute to his being the GOAT.  Anderson Silva was never asked to change divisions to challenge himself or to make more money for the company, why should DJ?

you like the division? wtf

The bottom line is that TJ offered to fight MM at 125 and MM was very creative to find a reason to duck him and fight Ray Borg lol.

I shouldnt really waste my time making posts on a MM thread anymore.

I respec that guy as one of the greatest mixed martial artists ever but talking about fighting a guy he already beat 3 times (Benavidez) and another one he already beat fairly easily not too long ago is a little too much for me.

He only beat Joe B twice and once was a split decision.

Benavidez has 4 losses on his record. 2 to DJ and 2 decisions to Cruz. He deserves a 3rd fight once healed.

TJ offered to fight before he ever even did a practice cut to see if he could make it. He started dieting and was going to do a practice cut when DJ and Dana started arguing. So Dana was talking **** before he even knew if the fight was possible.

Dana who just dumped money into TJ and Garbrandt on TUF was desperate to make some back so he tried to make DJ look like the bad guy and force him to fight.

Before TJ offered to fight, the UFC already offered DJ the Borg fight and he verbally accepted. So he wasn't creative, he just held the UFC to their word and accepted their original opponent.

DJ is a smart business man. I don't blame him one bit for everything he wants.

McIrish is a smart buisnessman. He is using his skill and mouth to make millions even when losing.

DJ is making peanuts fighting Ray Borgs without even being the main event and most people could not care any less about most of his fights.

If he was smart, he would be creative on how he got his money. Instead he stays at the midget class fighting guys who nobody wants to see.
