McIrish is a smart buisnessman. He is using his skill and mouth to make millions even when losing.

DJ is making peanuts fighting Ray Borgs without even being the main event and most people could not care any less about most of his fights.

If he was smart, he would be creative on how he got his money. Instead he stays at the midget class fighting guys who nobody wants to see.

I enjoy the way he pretends he's more focused on records than money. It's total horsechit, but it's an entertaining routine.

Granted he never managed the same amount of defences as Mighty Mouse but Dom was widely regarded as one of the p4p best and he was never pressured to fight Aldo.

Totally different scenario.  Cruz defended his UFC BW belt twice first time round and once scond time.  DJ's now at ten defences.

The legendary Bubba Sparks' title shot criteria actually cover this.  If you've already fought and beaten everyone in the top 5, you've earned the right to step up for a super-fight at the WC above.  Still got Pettis and Formiga left I'm afraid.

He was successful at 135 though,  mean he earned a title shot. Since then he has grown as a fighter not in size but in skill set. He shouldn't be so obssessed with his height and should man up and fight the bigger dudes once more.

I would watch but I doubt Garbrandt can make 125.

He says he only gets up to about 147. Benevidez is supposedly 150. So it's possible I suppose.

Borg and Cejudo walk around in the 150s so if thats true then he could make it. I assumed that he walked around bigger than that.

He fought 3 cans at LHW all of which were hand picked for his style. He never once "challenged" himself at LHW.

He fought 4 times at LHW, two of those were a champ and a former champ. "3 cans".

Griffin was a **** can, DC not so much. Youre really gonna sit here and say Griffin was an elite fighter at LHW? Yes, he won a title against a "seeing little green men" Rampage who was to far gone in his head to remember how to check a leg kick. BIG **** DEAL
