Conor at Bellator event, pushes ref Marc Goddard

Recommended Posts

So let me get this straight, Conor with no bad intentions enters a cage to celebrate with his team mate in what is a happy and positive moment for the team.... while being a bit wild Conor was doing nothing to start problems or showing any kinda hostility but then fuk boy Mark Goddard had to shove him and make some negative remark ruining the celebration  and killing the positive energy to crash and hostility to spike into a altercation..... Why did Mark have to be a bich instead of just going look after the other fighter, what because he is a official he thinks he can just do whatever to fighters with no reaction from them lmao

i'm a conor fan but you are wrong

Conor was not in the corner, he was simply a spectator. This is the equivalent of like had Al Iaquinta jumped into the cage after Weidman beat Anderson

Its different if Conor was in the corner but he was just in the front row. No one should be getting in that cage unless given approval.

Conor fan here as well I kinda agree both way but I still feel it's Mark who made things go bad in there but my last post was just me messing around giving the Liberal democrat kinda response lol making the bad guy out as a victim

He's in charge in the cage. That drunken Irish idiot had no business in the cage and he didn't get permission to enter. He also bum rushed the cage at full speed, Goddard has no idea what that retard is going to do. Last time Scott Coker let random morons enter the cage at one of his events Mayhem Miller ended up getting pieced up.

Miller didn't slap a commissioner, he got 3 months ban.

Conor should be getting 12 months minimum based on precedence

lol...Vert, people can say a lot about Conor...but 'classy' is not an adjective that will come up.

Yep. You can put a dress on a pig but it’s still a pig

I only saw limited footage so don’t want to turn the screws too far without seeing the whole thing and how the time elapsed may factor in... all media are scum and try evoking as much emotion as possible out of every situation. I’ll watch tonight...

lol @ the contrarians that think Conor will get punished.

If anything he will get called out by Dana for giving Bellator free publicity.

Well, that retard got arrested later for fighting at his hotel apparently.

Word on the street is that he pushed someone and then he was getting jiggy with it after eating the 1-2 biscuit and then was knocked clean out after diving for ankles.

I’ve always been a fan but stuff like this is a real putoff. Such a great talker, fighter and entertainer no different than child stars that can’t handle their fame and keep their egos in check...

OK - I got to watch the whole fight and see how things actually unfurled.  Here are MY takeaways:

1  Charlie Ward's trunks are waaaaaaaay too tight or waaaaaay too see through or both.  You could see his @sshole.

2  Conor had absolutely no business being where he was when he was there.  I counted three seconds after Ward's 4:59 punch and Conor was in the ring.  Not good and not allowed.  Nobody had a chance to even check on the other fighter and Mcgregor was raping ward on the canvas.

3  Goddard did nothing wrong and I can't understand why anyone would think he did.

4  the whole thing is quite shameful that you have this person, who thinks he rules all MMA acting like a f*cking child that needs ritalin.

5  It's also shameful that Mcgregor took all the attention from Ward by being nothing more than an attention wh@re.

yours truly,

unlikely to be much of a fan of his anymore.

link?

It was on the Yahoo UK twitter account but it has since been deleted. I guess the authorities decided getting knocked out cold was enough punishment.

McGregors antics were out of line, he had no business jumping in the cage and then slapping a member of either bellator or the commission. I saw a short video of McGregor after the incident, and he's on that Jon Jones (cocaine)

jaybird86, I have not seen the entire fight myself but I agree with points 2-5.

What I see as disturbing, and this is where I may have missed something, what about John Redmond?

The guy has just been concussed and as far as I can see, no one is attending to him. Worst still, as Conor "runs" towards Goddard, the whole damn circus looks like they almost run him over while he is still recovering.

Atleast in the UFC, the fallen fighter is surrounded by people until he has recovered. I remember Holly approaching Ronda after the KO and she was halted mid-step.

Btw, on your point no. 1, were Ward's trunks even worst than Dennis Hallman's speedos? lol

“I don’t care how mad you are, how upset you are, You don’t touch a referee ever. Unforgivable. Don’t come back, ever.”
“I heard, I didn’t even see it,  that he put his hands on a referee. Done. You touched a referee. Done. Over. That’s worse than what Daley did to Koscheck." - Dana White after Jason High put his hands on a ref. High was immediately cut.

With Conor he will vent about how dare he give Bellator free publicity and when asked about suspending McG he will say "We'll see".

McGregor ran into him like a truck just as the guy was getting to his feet, the poor ****** looked like he didn't know what day it was but all the attention was on stopping McGregor.

Disgusting. Once a pikey, always a pikey.

undisputed posted this statement in the premium section, commissions definitely gonna end up suspending him for some time

While the Mohegan Tribe Department of Athletic Regulation (MTDAR) was regulating Bellator 187 in Dublin, Ireland, on November 10, 2017, the following events took place during the Ward vs Redmond bout.

Mr. Conor McGregor who was a spectator at the time, disrupted the event by scaling the cage prior to the conclusion of the bout. Mr. McGregor’s conduct jeopardized the health and safety of the bout participants by delaying necessary medical attention to the fighters that were injured during the round.

In addition, Mr. McGregor assaulted Referee Mark Goddard and a Bellator staff.

The MTDAR has been in consultation with the upper management of the UFC regarding Mr. McGregor’s inappropriate and unacceptable behavior.

The MTDAR has also contacted members of the Association of Boxing Commissioners that have licensed Mr. McGregor in their jurisdictions to inform them of Mr. McGregor’s behavior.

What did he get fined for throwing water bottles?  I expect the same penalty.  Maybe community service snorting coke off some homeless hooker's t*ts in a shelter.
