Road to Belt for Romero:

Recommended Posts

Basically the same road Bisping took.

He can stay relevant long enough to be called as the replacement for a title challenger and then he might do what Bisping did and win the title.

Other than that he does not have a clear path to belt and he does not get better or younger or faster or have better gas tank.

Rockhold and Whittaker have his number and Romero has the number of the rest of the who is who fighters.

LOL, how can you make that conclusion if they haven't fought yet? Lets assume Rockhold beats Whittaker....then Yoel becomes a good candidate to fight him...they have never fought. Nobody wants to fight Yoel so he might as well just wait and fight again in June/July.

nobody wants to fight Romero because if he connects you are handicapped for the rest of your life. I am not questioning his abilities but he peaked and is declining.

The bold part is why i think he gets his title shot by chance and luck and in a way persistence.

After Conor Mcgregor, Yoel is the most ducked fighter in the UFC right now.

I cant balme any fighter. Chris Weidman is a living example of the damage Romero creates.
