16 DEAD - FLORIDA SCHOOL SHOOTING

Recommended Posts

Heard he was a former student of the school.

And apparently flagged by the Admin that he wasn't allowed on campus with a backpack. Don't know if a backpack was used here but if a school admin has enough concerns to say this, wouldn't that be enough for authorities to do something? I dunno...like Gitmo until we can figure out how to change laws to deal with this?

Especially if he turns out to be an illegal.  Both sides will explode

Never considered that...being in Broward County...

I'd focus more on the mental health / actions of the perp that garnered the attention of many.

And why nobody did anything (or authorities could not do anything) about it.

Partly because guns outnumber people?

but why? I've seen like 2 guns in my life and never hear about people showing up to places and mowing people down outside the US. Get rid of the guns and bring in some islanders to teach these boys to throw down

It's already been stated, mental health issues.

Damn, another gun free zone shot up. When Will the government step in and realise that there needs to be armed guards and armed teachers?

Every other government building has them, why not schools?

I have to admit I look for escape plans when I'm on campus.  I know where alternate exits are, etc.

That's not even paranoia, in today's America, that's simple common sense.

Because certain elements of the government don't give a **** about life beyond the fetus? While other segments of government are too one-sighted when it comes to the gun issue?

I'm really starting to reconsider this. I'm all in on arming teachers, too.

Don't tell me teachers in Detroit, NY or any other school system affected by this doesn't wish they could be armed instead of being in a 'gun free' zone.

I can imagine most of the teachers not wanting to be armed though. I'm friends with a lot of teachers, only one is gun toting, the rest are very anti guns.

The Vegas shooter really didn't seem to have a history of any serious mental health issues though did he? I mean, on one hand you gotta think that's the only reason a person can do something like this. But he seemed to live a pretty normal life...I don't know, it's all so ****ed up.

I think a lot of teachers would probably just prefer to not be teachers than to have to be a teacher and a swat team member at the same time. It's not everyone who can or wants to be packing just so they can do their job.

Girls thought he was creepy and weird. He was pretty pale with red hair. I didn't talk to him that much but from what I could tell he wasn't a nice kid. He wore a lot of black and was always alone.

all gingers are evil confirmed. they should round him up with bubba sparks and all the rest of them and send them all to concentration camps

Go ahead and spend some time investigating that particular shooting. You might decide it's a bit out of the ordinary in more ways than one.

Best thing the Taken movies ever did for me...subltly suggested things I can do myself for protection. PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR FREAKIN SURROUNDINGS.

Hmm this one might be legit if the death count and literally every detail of the attack doesn't change 18 times in 4 days.

Sad to hear.  I wish these fools would start using bullpup's occasionally.  Just a little mixing it up on the assault.  Even something like a Mac 11 and a high capacity 9mm pistol.  Enough of the AR's already.  Even a retard shot up a school with one he left in the trunk of his car and the school had been shut down for 5 years.

I still have a chuckle about the official narrative on that one... lol real life mid 60s MISSION IMPOSSIBLE

why was a 19yr old expelled former student allowed on this hs campus ?

Homie that's not the issue and you aren't questioning to official narrative are you?!

The issue dude is that he had an AR-15 combat assault rifle.  Probably had a quad rail with a sight, light, laser, foregrip.  He definitely had a bump stock since those worthless hunks of chit are such a big deal.  He probably had a dozen 30 round magazines on him.

Focus on the issue here.  BAN AR-15s because a double barrel shotgun is all you need to defend yourself.  Old Biden said it himself if anyone is fooking around outside his home that his wife grab the double barrel, walk out on the balcony and let loose with both barrels.  The recoil isn't going to blow old bag out of her shoes and whoever is out there will leave.

Halfway through feb and apparently this is the 18th school shooting incedent in the US this year, eight were fatal. Every country has mental health issues, this is something more.

Do you think metal detectors would be a better perhaps more feasible option?

I'm not sure 'Murica is ready for armed teachers especially if the standard of training is below cop level.

thats a pretty serious undertaking to arm so many people with guns, train them and hope/pray they will be able to use it effectively when the time comes without any collateral damage.

Risk/reward there is not worth it.

What good is a metal detector going to do without an armed guard to stop people when they set it off?

Schools in Texas have armed guards and there hasn't been a problem. Most teachers are liberals anyway so arming them would be a no go.

All I'm saying is if an armed guard at a courthouse is good enough for lawyers and judges, then it's good enough for "mah kids"

They could have a few i'm just saying there's probably no need for a whole staff to be armed.

If i had kids i know i wouldn't feel that comfortable sending them to school when random pleasant teacher has to be heroic and handle business in the event of a chaotic situation. I seen too many situations where people freeze or panic in chaotic situations and average joe/jane teacher likely doesn't have the propensity to rock n roll going medieval if need be is my thought. Most people are all about self preservation and cower or panic in those situations.

Then again i suppose that's better then every man/woman/child for themselves because nobody is armed so pray to jebus hoping you don't take one to the dome.

No. Put down the Kool Aid. That's a MSM garbage tidbit.

It may possibly be the 18th shooting that happened on or near school property, but NOT while kids are in school, and with children as the target.
